Hi EveryOne!!!
I've been using this phone since 3 years. Have thrashed the phone to insane limits, yet it takes everything gracefully! Battery stills runs like a hoot...
Typin SMS is a breeze... Sometimes wish my PC had a 1100esque keypad.
My Firmware version is 4.25 and I guess in this version we don't need the de riguer $ sign to send ring tones via msg. That's one speciality of the firmware with this version.
I've changed lotsa phones, but this has always been along with them and will always stay on with me.
Long Live the 1100!!!

my third phone had a colour display phone from sony,second a camera phone but this the best pf them all, good for those who use their phones roughly

This is quite easy to use. Its options are quite simple. We can understand it quite easily. Its battery perform great role to lead this specific phone to the other phones.

I think it's one of the most longlasting and versatile phone Nokia has ever invented. Superb battery life and ease of use makes it even better. Coolest phone to all sms freaks...........

I have just bought this phone after selling my Samsung X820 (6.9mm slim phone). The Samsung had a very bad battery performance but this phone is just amazing and it has a very nice battery. I have bought this mainly because I live in a developing country where there is alot of Cell-phone Theft going on. If robbers see this phone in my hands, they won't steal it . And the other good thing about this phone is that I can place two SIMM behind the backcover, right ontop of the battery so its easy for me to switch between sims too. I think its a very nice phone but It would be nice if it had a loudspeaker, more message capacity and a 4-way navigation.

Fantastic, simple phone. The vast majority of us don't need a camera, a walkman, edge etc. What we do neet is a sturdy, light reliable phone that calls and texts well, with a battery that lasts forever. The 1100 does just that.

Using it for past 2 1/2yrs.
Still no battery problem.
Yesterday it fell from 2nd floor right on the cement concrete below .Battery came apart with back cover. Few scraches here n there.
I put the battery and HoHoHo it came to life again.
Last month I went 2 Ooty. I forgot to take my 1100 from inside my pocket before enjoying the waterfalls. and ho..Water everywhere inside the display, keypad....
I took out the battery.
Put it in the phone after 6 days .Ho hO Ho It was back.
This one is a best phone Nokia has ever made.
