i think every body haveing problem in this nokia 1100, because it is "made for india" and indians are only they can purchase a buggie mobile... sms proble is a big problem.. cool 'made for india' dust free """" sms free""" ;):)

I bought a 1100 a few days ago and I like it. The only problem is that I seem to have an older software version, I have the SMS bug :-( Does someone know how I can get the 3.54 software version?

this is one of the best othes from 3310.
i realy do like it . it is small, less waight it's good. the only thing it should have had voice dialing...that's what missing. please send me a picture or a ring tone #1-345-327-2839. thank u .

I love nokia phone i have had a 3310 for years with no prob......and i intend to buy a 1100.....nokia to me makes the best phone.

bought this phone a few weeks ago and it was a last minute decision in the mall and i was praying all along that it doesnt let me down later on.i had no idea about the features and stuff but i must say that its a very useful phone and doesnt look too bad.i like to feel its weight in my hand and i'm not too fond of those extremely light mobile phones.battery life is very good.

Heh, i bought one, software version 3.54 is okay, no more bugs, battery life is great (9 days standby with talk). Covers suck, but i can get other covers made by 3rd parties, which rule. Phone is small, performs very very good. No wap, but i have enough of the internet at home. Wap sucks, imho.
The phone is okay, i am not a nokia fan, but i really love it. And the frickin` flashlight is very useful. Back off all of you who haven't seen the 1100 in action. Less features, more action.

That`s right ... it has a Sms problem.. can`t receive sms at all .. but only sometimes... after I recharged the battery the problem disappeared! Maybe a new version of software is better! Mine is V 3.44. The latest is .45! But is a GREAT Phone!

Watch out! The phone has a software glitch in the sms area. Sometimes it doesnt receive sms at all!! even though the delivery is reported on the sender's phone. Check the phone thoroughly before u buy it otherwise u'll end up slamming ur forehead just like me !!! :-)

1100 is a very very good phone.It's major benefit is (more than one week)standby time (when using the phone 15min talk and 30+sms per day). and 1100 is quite small: put it in your pocket and forget it. I have an n-gage, 1100's battery is the same of n-gage's battery so i do not suffer of battery anymore. All I can say is that 1100 worth buying. you wont regret it.

This phone is best when you take the price in case. It has flashlight which is fantastic idea. Battery lasts 7 days in standbuy.... if you dont have money to buy NOKIA with camera BUY this phone
