The latest version of this phone still has the software bug regarding the Sent Items where some messages remain in "pending" status even when they were in fact already sent. Once your Sent Items folder becomes filled with these "pending" items, you have no choice but to MANUALLY delete them one by one or you wouldn't be able to send any more text messages--a bug which has been around for over a year since firmware version 5.00 of the Nokia 1600 and was ported to the newer 1xxx series including this model. In spite of all the customer complaints, Nokia never fixed it.
it is very good mobile for low salary person and very friendly in use,it is best mobile phone for messaging speedily
my first phone is nokia N73 i need it just to send a sms to my second girl. is it good for sending sms?
quite simple, but some people regarded it as a poor mans phone, the best phone to ever handle and be free from road theif and robbers

I bought the handy 18 month ago and liked it till now: easy handling, long life battery. Since today, the handy crashes after entering the pin code and is asking for the pin code ever again.
just bought one of these with a BL5C battery last saturday used nearly 3 hours talk time the meter still reads halfway. The big digital clock screen saver so useful if you dont wear a watch
Its ever green set.. World best mobile..
Salam to nokia for that model...
I have never heard or seen this phone in my life. . .Maybe it is because they do not sell or make it in my country. What a shame. Wouldn't mind having a look at it. We have the Nokia 1110i, which must be pretty close to this model.

i have had this phone for nearly a year it's virtually indestructable and the charging well lets say it'll be days before you actually need to. maybe they need to use this phone as communication devices over in Iraq. Very user friendly and simplicity defined
The Nokia 1112 is like the Russian T34 medium tank.
Simplistic, Inexpensive, Durable, Unbreakable, User friendly.
No flashy hi-tech gadgetry. But I sure love this unit.
this phone is so cool, -SIMPLE but cool. very audible ringtones, nice ones too, nice keypad,-easy to use, nice display background, durable, good battery life, light in the hand, wow. want a simple but durable fon, go for this one.
The Nokia 1112 should have the keys as the Nokia 1100 and it should have the capacity to hold 20 received ,dialed, missed calls; also 20 reminders.
i got this phone as a replacement when my 5310 was at repair.. it has some very interesting features:
Talking watch, never seen it on any other mobile.
it also has the "nokia 3210 feel" - an indestructible "Panzermobilen"
