Our first family smart phone, God, time flies man
Still my daily driver.
Using a Xiaomi now after,a thief stole this phone from me many years ago
Oh the nostalgia, my old cracked babushkas phone. The back cover is taped because it doesn't hold on anymore, the black and yellow screen, snake xenze. Amazing phone in my collection.
This is no WAP browser, can be using a HMD Global
It seems this mobile phone (or "handy" as we call it over here in Germany) has finally reached its limit. Not because it died on me, which isn't the case at all, but because the 2G network will not be available anymore for such mobile phones, by the end of 2025. It's still over a year, but I can't get a signal already with my simkart, which works fine in a 4G mobile phone though. The Nokia 1200 was truly the "dumbphone" everyone should have focused on, but instead they get lost in the crappy designs of pseudo Nokia 3210s and such, which are not only far away from the originals, but also cheap quality. The Nokia 1200 was decent imo. And those monochrome graphics truly bring back true nostalgic retro feel. I'm now running around with a Panasonic "KX-TU550", which isn't available at GSMArena. Maybe the admins can fix that, for the love of my personal mobile chronology. And of course to complete this already great site. :^)

I have had this phone back in 2008 as a phone for work only, Nearly more than two years of heavy work in construction and its battery lasts for three days under heavy usage.
I remember once I was angry and I threw it on the floor and it kept working after re-installing the battery.
Bought this one this year, as a replacement for my 6310i. It's funny how people from older times (2007) complain how simple this release was, so basically outdated. But the fraction of people from non European countries love it for what it was and to some, still is. For me, that was a good indication that this mobile phone might be realiable, even if it was sold at a cheap price. Frankly, the hardware and software is simple, so asking for a high price, would be the true crime (not that such phones was released in 2007). I got two of these today, used in well kept condition. One of the original batteries was bulky, so not recommended to use, even though it was still functional. The other one works and looks flawlessly. This mobile is way lighter than a 3210 or 3330 and maybe can't handle a punch as good as them, but it gives off a better impression than the Nokias released in 2010s era. Polyphonic ringtones are nice, although hard on the techno vibe, almost kinda "Snowboard Kids" (N64) like. And the ones with singing are rather meh, but I guess that's a matter of taste. If you love to customize such simple phones, there is a music composer, which has exactly the same composer like the 3210, 3330, 6310i - polyphonic though, but not bad sounding. There are 5 free slots to save your masterpieces, which is pretty generous of Nokia (made in Romania btw). Gamewise, "Snake" is on it as well, although a newer version, which has no walls and is generally easier. "Soccer League", which is an unplayable mess imo. And "Rapid Roll", which is pretty much fun, if you really got nothing better to do. Other than that, you got a Nokia, that would have impressed my class mates back in 1999 to 2001, due to Rapid Roll and polyphonic ring tones. haha I hope this one will keep me company for a long time. It's all what I searched for and really need. The rest is up to me to handle. Cheers!
Nice mobile
