Personally, this device is a perfect example of what you really need out of a device, it's simple , does the basics but that's all you need. It's well built battery lasts a long time (Especially if you replace it with a Nokia BL-5C Battery) and speaker and microphone is decent at best. This used to be my Dad's phone and when I used it it was magnificent. In the UK this still works with some provider (Providing they were founded before 2007 or 2006). I use ASDA and use their Text and Call only service, and it works wonders. If you are looking for a feature phone in 2024, consider this phone. It has 3 games to keep you entertained for a while but not hooked like modern devices do. It has a calculator (Basic only), a composer which is fun but sadly because of it's limited storage only allows about 8 compositions. A note application and a converter. This phone is wonderful. It also has a torch. This phone fits in pockets like a dream and you even have space for your music player like an iPod. That's all I have to say. There may be something bad but I can't think of anything. A plus is that you can answer calls with the green call button :)

Just found my old nokia 1208 in a drawer. Thing still turned on. I've notice that mine is using bl-5c battery cell so bl-5a bl-5b and bl-5c is the same in size and dimension thus all interchangeable, with bl-5c 1020mah is the highest capacity.

I have nokia 1208 phone. I face a problem. The writing or word display of secreen is adverse (ulty words). How i resolve this problem.

I still have one I really like it but my friend`s say it`s rubbish but it`s true I suppose but this is 2019 and that was built 2007 .

Excellent simple, light weight easy-hold phone - until about 6 months ago. After I took off Vodafone voicemail it started to turn itself off after 1-3 rings. I reinstated voicemail but problem persists. Vodafone says it's nothing to do with them and is a problem with the phone. I have done factory resets but no cure.

Either you're lying, you've found the wrong phone or you must be very young here and your dad would have been a pretty young age for when you were born.
