But how much it costed these mobiles at these time, when they were launched and even in the last days of commercial period, and how much cost a 1209?
In last years, people wants more and more characteristics at low price possible, and for who wants a phone "almost for free" only for sms and calls, has "toys" like this mobile.
The days when mobiles were simple but ergonomic, robust, reliable are over because they were expensive.
Consumism dictates the rules to the market.

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2010u think nokia 1209 is better than an iphone. have u ever used an iphone????The person concerned I think if you need a phone for texting and calling Nokia 1209 is better for practical use. Other than that ofcourse Iphone if for multimedia use. Simple as that and it is not that hard to understand on what he/she wants to point out.

I have a problem with my 1209. There is a problem with sms. Sometimes its not sending sms. After restarting it works well for sometime. Again the problem comes. Also it is restaring sometime

What a complete piece of garbage... My grandmother used to have one of this before i gave her a motorola w375, aproper phone, if you know what i mean...
feels cheap, the body has low quality materials, feels like a chinese toy from a chinese shop, the screen is tiny and illegible even in the dark.....
Menu is confusing... Good old 3310 was way better than this...
even the price is not that good...
Walk away from this, tehere better phones out there...
