I like this phone. It's "in-your-face" simplicity is just what I was looking for. Besides, if you own an iPod Touch like me, you won't ever need any of the bells and whistles found in all those pathetic iPhone wannabes (see first page of gsmarena). All we iPod Touch owners need is a phone that can call and send SMS, that's all. This is that phone.
I will buy this phone after one or two years when the price will go down
I think it looks great. What about use in the U.S.? AT&T coverage?
Apart from the look, which is a bit lame, this phone is a great replacement for those are into 12xx series but want a well-spaced, separated keys keypad.
This is a basic phone, for those who need only a "phone",for poor people of 'underdeveloped countries'. Fine. Can anybody tell me is this the reason to make an ugly phone like this? Samsung has also developed some cheap phones with excellent battery life, but they are having a better look than this pencil box. Look does matter....
Is there any voice leakage problem like Nokia 1202 ?
cos the previous 1202 make earpiece, speaker, ringtone speaker comes out from the same place.
wow..i've been looking for this type of phone for my standby line..no need advance tech..purpose to call and receive call only and fit to my pocket..good job nokia...you brand are ment for everbody..
I don't understand people. This is mobile phone, not an mp3,mp4,radio or digital camera. Not everybody need this on mobile phone.I have SE J110i and it is very good phone. This Nokia is something like that and I like it very much.I don't buy basic phone because for its price.I buy it because I don't need more than talking and typeing sms.Great work Nokia!
Good Lord, I'm rejoicing! It does even have MP3 ringtones and Snake 2 (too bad Shenzia needs color).
Seriously, though... people who truly bash this kind of phones probably never went to underdeveloped countries. Oh wait, you don't even need to go there. We have examples around us... ;)
Truth is, I'm buying an N900, but I'm keeping my Nokia 1101 (Google Image it) when I must go to dangerous places (think robbery).
relu, 09 Nov 2009I am very poor and this will be my first mobil phone! Its seriously not funny
