I still use the 1616 as an alarm c... moreI managed to got one second-hand and in very good condition. Maybe expensive for such kind of phone (€25), but after so many bad experiences with current Nokia dumbphones I prefer something to know it's reliable.
The battery lasts 8 days with a single charge, though, not as much as I believed to remember. I'll have to test it.

I still use the 1616 as an alarm clock, in 2025.
If you add a pair of compatible headphones, it works as an FM radio.
You could keep it in your emergency 'go-bag' as a backup radio, torch, and if 2G is still supported in your area, to make emergency calls.

I used it for a number of years, until the screen ended up FUBAR, just showing white, after a particularly nasty hit to it. I really miss those two weeks of battery in a single charge.

My grandma has this phone since its launch, its still in perfect condition, nothing has needed replacement.

I remember i had this or the Nokia C1-00 phone back when i was a kid. The one i had went through hell, it had completely broken and torn off screen but as far as my mind reaches it had really cool widgets and even had funky emojis and ofc the Forbidden treasure game i loved that game sm. I literally lost this phone probably dropped it somewhere and that was the last i have seen of that phone. I rlly wanna buy it back I loved this phone sm.

I remembered this one hahahaha
funny thing is that mine keeps stuck on white screen as well as torch when I press the end/power key and goes shut off when released. In order to turn on the phone, I had to smash the phone while holding the power key 😂😂😂 my friends are like "WHAT THE HELL YOU DOIN' YOUR PHONE" 😭😭😂😂😂😂😂😂

i really love the nokia 1616 phone. but unfortunately i live in a very far away place almost a planet away and because that i cant have the nokia 1616 phone.
every night i dream of buying nokia 1616 phone, every night a different color, dark grey, dark red, black...

I have this phone at home and it collect dust for 5 years. Five years passed when I last boot up this phone and it still works

Nokia 1616-2b, this is my current main cell phone, it never fails me, and it uses the battery of an old Nokia 1108 that I bought in 2006. I currently need to charge the battery twice a month to enjoy its benefits.
