The Nokia 1 was launched last year in February with Android Oreo (Go Edition) which is a lightweight version of Android specially developed for devices with low-end hardware and limited RAM. It comes with apps like Google Go, Maps Go, YouTube Go, and Gmail Go.
The Android Pie (Go Edition) update is rolling out over-the-air and should reach all the Nokia 1 units in a week or two.
Although the initial release allegedly took place on 25 June, 2019, as of 9 July, the Pie GO update has not reached all Nokia 1 phones. I'm wondering how long the roll-out took for each of the other Nokia models. Are they perhaps staging it by sub-mo...
My Nokia 1 received it last week. The update is great, but there is a bug which resets the animations back to 1x if they're set to .5x or 0x in developer options. It happens even if the "disable animations" is enabled from Accessibility options.
