Anonymous, 08 Nov 2017Why are you crying over a phone not made specifically for you? They already did that with Nokia 5
Only 1GB ram, 8GB internal, SD212, they could at least put 2/16 gb, SD410
nokia is my favourite ever, i had bought my first mobile nokia 5600 , after that i use another 3 companies phone because i have lower budges 7000 to 8000 thousand maximum. i m very happy hear for nokia 2 come in market in november in low price with android support. its around my budges. but one thing to say that its memory i think should be 2 gb instead of 1 gb. otherwise after all specification not to compare i think as well as other phone. nokia is ever best. we are wait nokia 2 & other as public demand in lower under price 10,000 with 2 gb ram or 3 gm ram
zon jones, 06 Nov 2017I'm not sure if Nokia should listen to these dumb people or what. Critics aimed to the Nokia 2... moreNokia shud stand its own ground and keep making phones the way they are. I'd pick a well built phone with essential quality features over a phone with bleeding edge technology in a poorly built package. Nokia is for professionals, for gamers and geeks there is xiaomi. (in a budget).
I'm currently using the Nokia 6 and I couldn't ask for a better phone. It even supports Android pay, has dual band wifi and a surprisingly good display. Day tonday usage is super fluid even with a 430.
I'm not sure if Nokia should listen to these dumb people or what. Critics aimed to the Nokia 2 specs, which too many people believe that "Spec is everything" as their 'phone religion'. I've proved by using Nokia 6 that specs don't always matter. Optimization is the key. But how would Nokia assure these dumbsters? Or should Nokia stop making low spec phones and go with the mainstream?
Saeedhu , 05 Nov 2017Nokia is still behind. Why 1gb RAM. Useless I'm glad that someone understands. Android 7.1.1 with 1 GB ram, I have no words for that. Without at least 2 GB ram they shouldn't sell android phones anymore, even if they are low budget phones.
This is probably a phone targeting all the elderly people still using their Nokia dumbphones. With a Snapdargon 212 and 1GB of RAM, they can easily use Viber and Skype to connect with their families. The huge battery and modest CPU means they will have an easier time adjusting to smartphone battery life, compared to their old Nokias, which easily last a week. All in all, it's a phone for your grandma and grandpa. And I love it because finally, I can see the "Connecting people" motto I thought Nokia had forgotten this past year.
D.Knight, 05 Nov 2017Seriously?...when others been launching phones with higer config but with lower price...when u... moreSymbian! Perhaps
Maemo, MeeGo... Definitely >>> android's processes always on on background...
Seriously?...when others been launching phones with higer config but with lower price...when u guys r launching ancient ver tech with higer price?...GREAT JOBS "NOKIA"..u guys should back to stone ages with SYMBIAN OS lolz...least people have reasons to buy those phones as old relics...
I have the first gen android one device which obviously have 1gb ram and runs on purest marshmallow and it struggles to open any heavy app let alone games even chrome force close after some use.
so 1gb ram is strictly a no go for anyone. . .
All Specs are under par, hardware & software, But HD shud reduce bezel top bottom, as it's a copy of Lumia years of Nokia, under Microsoft! Most importantly when Internationaly available, after being exhausted by Chinese market. Awaiting this year!
1GB RAM and stock android...2GB RAM and customised ROM. I am giving example my son uses Yuphoria from YU, it has 2GB RAM with stock android. He plays heavy games still 800 to 900 mb ram is empty. I use Samsung J7 with 1.5 GB RAM, a very heavily customised rom. I have only whatsapp in my phone. I have only 180mb to 250mb free RAM. So think yourself.
This phone looks just like the Nokia 3. I bet the camera lens is made of plastic like in the Nokia 3. I hope Gsmarena tests this device, I am interested to know if the battery life is really that good as promised by Nokia/HMD.
zon jones, 03 Nov 2017Have you ever tried this phone? Ever? How would you expect people to 'believe' that this phone... moreI do not need to try this phone to know that 1 GB ram is too small. I know this without that. I'm just saying that it's better to give a little bit more money and buy a decent phone with at least 2 GB ram, but as you want that's your decision.
Force Majeure, 02 Nov 2017It should have had the 425 or 410 at least...its just not possible for a tier-1 brand to offer these specs in low range.
