Thomppa26, 14 Feb 2023I have the 2110 Prototype the 880 from the early 1994. Its super rare, only 100 of them are built. Cool!

I can send and receive text messages on my Nokia 2110, but I can't make or receive calls. What's the deal with that?
Per, 09 Nov 2022Same weight. :)Ooh, could tell, the 14 Pro Max is 4 kilograms slightly heavier than this ancient relic
BMHater12, 27 Oct 2022Lmao, why people think that this really old phone is related to the 14 Pro Max?Same weight. :)
I still have Nokia 2110i which I custom changed while working for Nokia in Cape town around 1995.
Would love to power it up but can't remember the input power.
Type: NHE-4NX
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2022It was made in February 1994, not 1995.Could have been as early as 1993 though. I have several 2110i and a 2110 in my collection, although the latter one is from 25 November 1994. The 2110i ones are from mid-1995 to December 1996.

i have a 2110 but i think it does not work
This was my first phone. It was one of the first "GSM" phones that came out that didnt weigh a ton unlike the Motorolas of those times. Nokia was just starting out, and I believe this was one of their first "truly digital" phones unlike the analog ones that came before it. I remember buying this from an officemate of mine who brought it home from the US, then I ended up selling it to another officemate when i got myself a Nokia 5110. Looking back, i regret selling it, i should have hung on to it as it would be a nice piece of history to look back on.

Can still be used in our days ? Or the Gprs isnt working anymore ? Or is something wrong with the phone antenna ?
I am daily using this with extended battery, rocking 3 days, making 30min of call every day and 10sms. Mine is the original 2110 from 1994. The software of 2110i is better and faster though... I think I will upgrade :D
For the time it was a great phone. Sending SMS was no longer pain like on 1011 and 2010, you could set up easy reminder and alarm based on countdown and you get rock solid reception of GSM.

Its Awesome why did they discontinue it?
Since SIM cards hold the subscriber's information, they come in handy when the battery on your phone is low or needs to be recharged. You can take out the SIM card and place it into another phone and send a text or make another call. ... It does not matter if you are using an Android or Apple (AAPL) - Get Report phone.
