This phone is great and it was my first cp sine 1996 until I owned 3 units of it and guess what! until now it's still working.

I remember in '96 my father coming home one evening with a ,brick size, 2way communication device, as a matter of fact it was a Nokia 2110... Good all Quality phone!

My first phone. It has very good reception, only flaw is unreliable battery attachment. Anyway extremely reliable. Last time I used it in Nov 2006 when more modern phone died. It is more than 10 years after it left the factory.

bah, I remember this phone. But, it was not the oldest Nokia I can remember. There was n 121, 232, 1010, 1011, 1610, 1611, 2010 and 2011.
Last year man came to my service to fix n 2110 (I was wondering!!!), I made it and charge him a little. Made few photos, comparing with new ones. I sold few n 2110 (back in the 1997,98), in spite of its good reputation, I dislike n 2110, esspecially because of short battery life and reception.

i think that the voting results for this phone are rediculous. the design is terrible, the only featres are phone calls and sms and from what i've heard from people who own/owned a 2110, its extremely unreliable and has terrible reception.

This was my first h/p given by friend. Great sharp voice when talking to someone in China when call from Malaysia. Wondering why the voice so sharp compare to other two Nokia h/p with better technology that I used in these recent years. Could it because GSM900 network less traffic compare to GSM1800 and later???

The first GSM phone from Nokia was the 1011 as far as i know. After that was the 1610, 1611, 1631 and the 2010. The 2110 was launched in SA in 1996.

This was my 1st Phone. I bought this phone in 99. I couldn't afford the smaller once.
Was Very Reliable. Brings back good memories!

Found mine from 10 years ago in a box in my garage. Friend and I decide to have fun with it. Left it in the middle of a street. cars went by and some slowed down. I think when they saw it was an old brick they did not bother stopping. Went to a shopping mall and left it on a bench. people sat down and ignored it , people walked past and looked at it and ignored it. on the way home a hobo came to my car window and begged for some money. So I thought let me give him the phone, he looks at it and says he would prefer money. We eventually played golf with the phone as no one wanted it.
