Hi Amil,
I agree with your comments about the 2110. I have just noticed one at the best on-line auction and it still has just over 8 days left. I noticed it also has wood cover and virating battery.

I also had a 2110 until recently, this was most durable phone ever. However, I gave mine to a relative who misplaced it. Therefore I was on the lookout for another one. I do regularly check e-bay and recently missed out on one. Does anyone know anywhere else I could check on the net?

This was the first mobile phone I ever bought in my life. I bought it in 1995 and sold it in 2000, and I never had a single problem with it unlike new modern phones. In 1995 Motorola was the best phone and Nokia was considered for the "low budget buyers". Now (as you can see) things have turned around.

Coolgal,
These comments are not constructive. The Nokia 2110 is a handset from a different generation. Of course it's not got the same features as the Nokia 6680 or N70 but you need to look at these phones in the context of the time when they were released.
Simply stating that something is rubbish and used to be cool is hardly relevant or even correct.

i still use it till now. my frens are ashamed to go out with me but i dun care. i love my phone more. for all cam-phone user out there, get ur hands on 2110 and u will use it for a lifetime!!!

This has got to be the worst phone that ever...was made. It might be easy to you use for all the grandads out there, but its stupid carrying s brick around in your pocket all day. A pickpocket would probably nick this and put it back.

hello all
i recently bought and old car with a hands free set up already installed. The cradle is type mch-8 which i'm assured works with a nokia 2110.Unfortnuately i don't have that model and neither do my local suppliers. does anyone have an old one that they could let me have. i am willing to pay all the postage etc and would even consider a swap for my nokia.alternatively does anyone know if there is an adapter to connect with a more modern and available phone.. ???

I have just found my old Nokia 2110 in the attic. It is missing the aerial but otherwise appears to be in good shape. It has an original Nokia battery (Type BBH-1S) and I am willing to sell it to anyone who might need it for the battery or to repair (if you can find a new aerial). im malaysia, this phone is not only obselete but is also legacy. i got da handset but not the battery. In malaysia, recently I shop throughout the whole street in Kuala Lumpur and ask for the 2110 battery, they think that i'm completely insane and crasy. I'm 'dyin' to get the battery. It does not matter how much it is as long as it is in good condition...and of course the original battery and dun offer the imitation battery.
