i wish nokia would continue the production of symbian operation system .Real smart phones, because those nokia phones were the best.they didn't have any processing in the background ,used Internet connection only when needed.a WhatsApp message could trigger Internet connection to start so that you would receive it.it didn't use alot of Internet.didn't drain battery ,easy to use..
my phone has turned it self off and on a couple of times and also the display just light up and nothing happens when i press the buttons so i had to take out the battery to make it work again.
I bought this phone because I wanted privacy. I don´t need GPS. But there´s a problem. The phone I had before was the 3310 3g. It was a great phone but it was only 3g. So I thought the next logical step was to get the 225 4g. The problem is that I´m using Tracfone with (Verizon sim). Even though this phone is supposed to be unlocked it only connects to 4g during calls if you´re using T-mobile. What´s up with that ? It should be either locked or unlocked. It shouldn´t be advertised as unlocked if it only works with one carrier. Now I have until December to switch phones yet again because Verizon will shut down 3g! It´s a shame because this phone was just what I needed and works really well. But it´s false advertising. Not really unlocked!
After testing
I managed to get 5 to 6 days of battery on Nokia 225 on 2g network

The phone runs well but in dual sim the battery drain faster
I will change the settings to 2g and see any difference
Does it have a tethering function?
i like this phone so much that i bought three of them in each colour..if one puts the network setting on 2g the battery-charging will last longer..if the net still runs on 2g that is..
I bought the Nokia 215 and 225 as back-up phones for my car and bike in case I forgot my main phone or was in a poor reception area. Each phone has different network SIM. Dual SIM is great when signals are poor. The 215 is a good basic phone made in Vietnam. But the 225 made in China is absolute rubbish. The operating system is very slow, Typing Contact names takes ages as the key pad does not respond correctly. The 225 will not recognise the Three Network SIM, just get 'Emergency calls only'. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. BUY THE 215 INSTEAD. I hope this saves you buying rubbish. Kaz.
Cloudz, 03 Jun 2022people these days expect too much from candy bar phones, if you want all these featured go buy... moreCompanies do want the people to use their privacy exploiting and distracting "smart phones" and thus will deliberately not provide features in simpler phones, or leave them lacking, lest they become practical substitute for the latter.
So let people voice their concerns/laments and shut up advocating "smart phones". These phones provide so much for so less (revenues will be generated later for them, of course) that basic phones will always have hard time competing.

derrick, 14 Dec 2021Had this phone almost 6 months now and the calls frequently drop even when I have full signal.... moreOverall, the phone is good but the issue of call dropping is annoying indeed. I also experince the same problem.
I bought Nokia 225 4G recently and I wish to share my brief experience with the handset.
Pros:
Better display
Premium design
Light weight
Ability to rearrange menu icons
Has call recording gunction though not automatic
Synchronises with android contacts
Threaded messages
Cons:
Battery does not last longer
Call droppings even though it has 4G functionality
Slippery in hands
Calling screen_ caller number has bigger font while name of caller is in very small font
Performance is abit laggy
Bottom line:
Nokia 110 4G is better than Nokia 225 4G based on my experience with both handsets. Nokia 110 4G has outstanding performance though it has a tiny display. It also has good battery life.
