hello everybody,
i think of all mobiles that nokia has released, nokia 2300 is the best radio handset and of course it's very cheap i think nokia 2300 is better than 2310.

Liv'g in downtown.....using 2300 more than ayear,after've lost SE,it's practical phone esp. listen FM radio during work out on treadmill. Keep'g in touch with children by hand free mike

Hello all,
I use 2300 as my second phone.
I use 2 phone at same time. my another phone is nokia 3250.
But its not possible to take N3250 at the time of rain or when move without car at night!!!
More over By using 2 phone its easy to use 2 number at a same time.
2300 is a great phone. The sim which I mainly use is inserted at 2300.
Specially I like the Radio option of this phone.
Disadvantage is the key pad for writing sms.

This phone is very good, specially its battery is work for a long time (approximately 1 weak). Style is so good. All over i think in black n white, it is the best phone.

Itz a nice fone....i have been using it for past 1 n' a half yrs....it's really awesome...& it's Radio turns me on...it's a cooooool fone to have :) :)

the polyphonic sound is better than a Nokia 3100....

very good handset. I purchased it on oct2005. only thing is its keypad. always want to dial something else n it goes on another. but then also i luv it . its radio feature forced me to buy it on affordable price.

i tried to use it.but the keypad is pretty funny that makes you always accidently typing in the wrong number or words.not a good keypad though

very goog phone.
i owned at Oct2004 .
FM radio s the feature that make me buy it,
and small price .
only disadvantage is absence of IR or cable to connect it with a pc [i was tired to copy all my contacts from my old nokia7110 phone to my new phone]

Actually this phone is nice but be carefull the loudspeaker is not better as i expected. But the style looks cool and hot.plus point is radio and minus point it loud speaker.

i think this phone is very good. even though its not flip or slide up it dosnt really matter because all most people use their mobile for is texting! most people dont even use the camera on their mobile.. thats why they invented the digital camera! so over all this phone is not bad.

Actually I am planning to buy 2300.But having seen varied opinions(for&against) I
am forced to reconsider my decision.I saw this phone 2 years back.I was very much impressed by the look and its sleekness.
The FM is a plus.But was told that there
is a problem with the phone.It hangs often
and the ringing may continue for long when
you receive a call.So now I am in a dilema
as to buy it or not.But one thing is for sure.The FM quality is GREAT.NO MATCH.But going for 2300 is like GAMBLING.

To all, who r facing software/firmware problems wid this N2300.... go to any recognised nokia service centre/certified technicion and ask them to update its firmware to the lastest firmware that nokia has released.
i was also facing hangs and freezes but one day a friend of mine told me that nokia has fixed all bugs in their latest firmware release for 2300. check ur firmware like this *#0000#
after update My firmware version is
V 7.36
21-11-05
RM-4
this update cost me Rs 150 equal to 3US dollars, now its working fine...great...
