hey...
i used to have this phone but now i have a motorola V360
it is a very nice phone easy to use and fm is really good and anyone can handle this phone.
Looks that many shops have discontinued selling the 2300? Probably too cheap to make a good margin on. I had a fancy Siemens S40, which was once replaced due to warranty problems. And the S40 display was lousy. I finaly replaced the expensive S40 with the cheap Nokia 2300, which has all essentials if you are not a feature freak. The 2300 did fit into the S40 pouch perfectly and has been reliable now for over 3 yrs. The FM audio quality is a nice bonus!
Hi, Have owned a Nokia 2300 now for about 3 yrs. And it meets all my essential needs. I bicycle and I like the radio. Changing preprogrammed channels is easy, I just push the talk button on the handsfree mike. The phone discontinues radio and answers automaticaly. And returns automaticaly to radio after a call. It is also easy to scan for new local channels as you move into new areas. Batterylife is sufficient for all-day radio listening and heavy calling. Audio quality is excellent. The reason I bought the 2300 was adequate features and dirt cheap price.
its, a gr8 phone, its been 2 years i have been using this phone and the radio frequency catch is just like it should be, its just like a pkone which is equivalent to a nokia 6610 but without colour display.....
it is good and i want to buy it
Hi,
Yesterday i went to buy this phone but the sales man said that it has major software and hardware problem (same opinion from other shops also).
Is it true that this phone has software and harware problems. Can anyone tell me
This phone is very good, economy. I have purchased this phone on May 2005 and still it working very good. Its sound quality is very good.
it's very baaaad mobile phone..... it's software is just buggy and after i bought it 5 months it had a hardware prob so i tried to get it fixed but they kept saying that it cannot be fixed cuz it's main ic was damaged somehow, idon't know how this happened i was just listening to the radio and it suddenly turned off after i couldn't turn it on again and i made sure that i doesn't related to the battery or SIM card......just a piece of junk.... don't ever think 2 buy that thing

Solution for all Nokia 2300 users:
If anyone of you is facing problems (Hangs, errors etc.) wid this handset, i have a simple & easy solution for u.... just reset your phone & all your problems will be solved: u can reset this set by going to setting & then press "Restore Factory Setting" the phone will ask for the security code, the default code is 12345 (use the other code if u have previously changed it). Please make sure that da battery of phone should be full otherwise if the process of resetting is interpted due to low battery, consiquencess would be fatal... so before resetting ur phone make sure that the battery is full. Enjoy*** use this phone the sound quality of Fm is awasome

the phone goes bad easily and there is nothing one has to do about it . Maybe the design is not torelable to certain areas in the world e.g the tropics
