Nokia China will be competing with Microsoft for the Lumia model. Nokia Finland will start competing with Nokia China for the brand name NOKIA but Finland will only release Android operated Nokia phones.

Feature phones are phones with both many advantages and disadvantages compared with smartphones.You gain many things and you lose also many others.Personally i think that feature phones are very useful and i also like Nokia 230.

are the 2 simcard dual standy by? how about the quality of sound of earpiece and mouthpiece are they loud and clear? please for those who have this and used this phone can you tell im planning on buying this model based on your used of experience?thanks

Please Microsoft broaden your horizons and don't be afraid that higher specs on Nokia phones will cut sales of lumia.Let the remaining Nokia ex employees do something strong and push the limits of their feature phones. A lot of people needs a 3g phone and a phone with wi-fi that will have physical keypad.I must admit that the new Nokia 230 is better than previous phones like 220,215,225 and it's a good phone but you must do something even better.For the moment i'll buy 230 but i'll wait to reconsider your very strict strategy with Nokia phones...

I am liking this phone also very much. It is the old fashion candy bar phone having a modern look. I am thinking it will be making a most excellent second phone for using when smart phone is having the problems. Well done Nokia.

A waiting 230, possessing all nokia models,1108 is always with me. pl. relaunch 1108 in large numbers exactly as it is.

Nokia 230 which operating system does it have ?
Will it compare Nokia 225 with specification features?
What about the service after sales ?
What will be its budget price ?
It is only in White and Black no other colours.

This 230 is Nokia China copyright than Nokia Finland copyrights. Its costs 60$ too much. Nothing new, you can buy used Nokia E71 or 72 for same price. No specs acceptable.

Some of you people are just so full of Apple and Samsung crap and keeps comparing Nokia with them. Are you guys dumb? Nokia right now is under China's copyright and Finland's copyright is still under Microsoft up until mid-2016 after Nokia finland bought again Nokia's copyright from them last September 2014.
Samsung better than Nokia? you kidding me? why don't you compare Nokia's 3x4 or QWERTY phone with Samsung? look at Samsung's Specs, it even sucks in SMS how much more other features like camera which is always low-quality, almost-busted music sound and etc. Expansion slots of Samsung 3x4 or QWERTY phones got owned by Nokias.
Do some research about Nokia's current status before you run your mouth with their phones.
PS: in Mid-2016, look out
Nokia Windows OS: from China
Nokia Android OS: Finland
Microsoft will still support Nokia but not Nokia Finland since they cut their ties with Bill Gates last 2014.

Good strategy by Samsung choosing the right operating system at the right time and that's the main reason it went so high.The design of Samsung phones it's not so good.On the other hand Nokia will always be respectable because it was 14 years on top and it became a legend.People waits for C1.We'll see...Hope for better conditions for every one that works for phone companies.The value of human life comes first and then the profit...

But memory & camera is too low..I am still using C-5 and was looking to change but yet to find a good mobile in market including Nokia. Hope this Model 230 is even better than C-5. I wonder why people who matters do not get to know the needs of their customers.Its my basic Mobile to tall N will continue to be such.
Thanks Nokia. Please realise to make a Mobile like C-5 and not with less features. All the best.
