to all those whiners shut up, this is a basic phone for people who are serious about business. if you are so pressed for Blue tooth & IR & MP3 player, then you have to pay the top dollars, you cheap skates. NOKIA rulz

this phone is a sin!!!it has no infrared,no bluetooth,no gprs yet it has 4mb memory and a 128x128 colour display,nokia...what the hell is this!!!???

nokia 2600 is a very good product.but it doesn't have an infrared port.and that is very bad. thank you.

From a sellers point of view this phone is great. its cheap so good for upgrades and it looks cool so wouldn't look odd when sold on a higher tariff. a sign that nokia havn't completely lost the plot? lets hope so.

I bought this phone for my old and vision-troubled father. Its fonts are large and visible enough for him to write SMS and choose the number from the phone book.
The petit size just suits a-cutely-small-built him.

surprisingly nice phone. Good buttons, display is OK, Quality of voice is 9+, battery endurance 9+, nice to handle ans use. Good looking desing. I give it 9/10

Good mobile. If you think that you need a good price/quality phone and you dont nee xtra-performance about your phone - this 2600 is worth of money. I like it very much indeed!

The loudspeaker is goodenough. And it's a basic function choose it to scrolling under the first screen view.
Great mobilephone..back to basics, think about it!

A horrible little phone, I'm sorry I bought it. I only bought the 2600 because it had a loudspeaker function that was supposedly quick to use. Nowhere in the instruction book is this function mentioned and people on Nokia's helpline had to go away and ask about it. The function can only be accessed after a call is received and then only by scrolling through options and clicking on - hardly a quick process if driving and more dangerous than plugging in an earpiece. The keys are also small and too close together, particuarly the top options key. My old 3210 was much easier to use and the screen was always visible.
Battery life and volume are very good.

A great mobile! I had SE t610 & Siemens SX1 before but I did not enjoyed it. There's happened something misunderstood coz' Nokia 2600 is more than cheao basic phone! It's nice price/powerfull/enjoyable and smart choice phone! Go and get it!

hii, i bought this phone two days, back,
distinct features- spreadsheet, screening messages,Made for INDIA(supports Hindhi)
pros:4mb DYNAMIC memory, it has just 4 channel poly, but sound is really good, color display is decent.
cons:just a phone. nothing more than that.
i found an error in my phone.
while composing ringtones, using the monophonic composer, sometimes, the "beep" gets stuck. and i have to press the OK button to stop it, or else it will beep forever.

in INR 2600 costs arnd 5200 rs.

Word of warning for all people on here saying it is sh*t.
It is very basic & doesn't have the fancy features, that is true. However this is designed for people who just want to make calls & text and nothing else.
So it does exactly what it says on the tin! ;-)

At INR 5300/- in India I think its bit over priced. Could do well with price tag of around INR 4500/- at this price its awsome product.

I'd just like to comment on how sad you people abusing nokia are on their cheap quality phones, i mean a phone is just a phone, something you use as a mean of communication and if you aren't happy with nokia, get over it, no point getting frustrated over it. I think this phone is a great basic phone at a good price, you get what you pay for, and it has all the features i need.
