fyi, I'm in the mobile phone business myself, but i like my htc tytn2 a bit more than a nokia n95!
Anywayz, as you were saying the nokia 2600 is indeed announced all over the world, but as is stated in the announcement on this great webpage and I quote: Today Nokia unveils two budget handsets that offer a range of handy features for consumers in emerging markets. Nokia 2600 classic and Nokia 1209 are targeted at emerging markets and make the most out of features such as multiple phone books, calls cost tracking, prepaid credit tracking, etc.
Need I say more?
Besides that, what's wrong with a simple to use, cheap to buy lean on features phone for users in western countries like here in the netherlands, I've got a whole bunch of customers still using the Nokia 3310, because it doesn't have any features and is build for what a phone is build for in the first place: Calling people!
Oh yeah ...
The targeting countries... IT'S ON THE RELASE PAGE GSMARENA DID!! Maybe you should read up before you look like even MORE of an arse... doubt that could happen though cause you tha king baby!
C'mon!?!! stop acting tough ok??!!? if nokia created this fone for those user you are referring with then why is it announced all over the world????
do you know what youre saying....
Do you guys understand for whom this phone is made??? This phone is targeted at emerging markets: DEVELOPMENT COUNTRIES! These guys are not interested in memory cards, photocamera's, mp3 etc. They just want a phone for.... ehg... calling... just like we used to back in the ninties. So shut up with lame comments like this phone has bluetooth but no memory, what do you want to transfer??? Ever thought about using it for your headset??? I think it is an excellent phone for it's purpose, especially the battery life, imagine not having a wallsocket in your home to charge your phone every night. Try using a N95 then!
im coming when first launch in indonesia. very impressed, not only entry level. coz, this phone equiped with an email wizard, and user possibly to change the cover. the fm radio with a 20 presets.
Whats the point of Bluetooth without memory card slot, what are we going to transfer and where.. Its just a 2630 in disguise. Nokia is lazy.
i think this phone was good... god for all the bastard whose posting there opinions ryt now.. wakekeke rocks
this is not a good phone even for a spare phone u know?!
if we're talking about main phones of course i will not waste money on this hehe, no offense.. 2630 is better
whow, at least to the specs, the battery is pretty amazing, I'll say!
maybe Nokia just wanted to create budget phones that could just be an extra unit, like here at my hometown.. we often 2 sim cards and we prefer that both sim are working in an individual unit.. compare the interface of other budget phone of other brands, this ones good from the display and the fonts.. very likable
i agree with Jon2 !
and thats also true, Nokia and SE are jusr releasing the same phones again and again! same features and same design.
same as before nothings changed..just the keypad...
its your choice if you buy the expensive fones or the cheap ones like 2600. if you can afford buying n82,8800 etc..then why not? you can buy great fones which are not too expensive....you can also buy cheap fones like this one and after a few weeks you'll start wishing it has 5mp camera,mp3,ms applications blah blah blah.
nokia and SE are just same stupid...they released phone with similiar design every years, every months, every year... we should burn their design department.. get a life nokia and SE...
In my opinion, this is a good phone.. The battery life is very good comparing to other phones.. I'm agree with u guy's.. nokia should work at design and..price as well. Phones that look great, with 5 mp camera and other facilities are very expensive.. For ex here in Romania.. The medium salary is 150-200euro. Phones like n95, n82, e90, 8800 sapphire arte, 8800 arte, 8600 luna are more then 600euro.. how about that?
this one's fit for an extra phone at hand, w/mms and radio.. good surviving kit
