Some countries will even drop support for 3G phones, or already have
Old phones (with no 4G or 5G) won't work any more... 😔

I think it can run Java apps, but I don't know if there are instant messaging Java apps available for this phone
I'm almost sure no instant messaging app was pre-installed on this phone

Got this phone in 2009. Still works till date, though I have retired it. It's a classic.

Still have this phone. Bought to me by my parents last 2008 when I was still in college, but still works great. Though still use it occasionally when my smartphone is out/low of battery

Dissemble the part of the LCD and clean the area, then reconnect your LCD and assemble the unit. Turn it on and if you still got a white screen. That means you need to change your LCD or have it fix with a repairman using jumpers.
