Hey just bought this Nokia 2720 brand new in the packaging from facebook marketplace place. Does anyone know if this will still work with T-Mobile in 2025? It is a T-Mobile phone has the logos.
I wanted to a simple dumb phone. Tired of my iPhone 16pro lol.

My vintage Nokia 2720 fell apart (literally) last year. Replaced it by the only comparable 'basic' phone, the Nokia 2660 flip!

This phone is one of the best I had, simplicity and convenience is amazing, the phone is just invisible in your palm-this is a good Nokia standard even today.

I bought this brand new phone in 2009 from mobile provider for 1 Eur with contract for 2 years and successfully using till these days. I think it's the best phone, comparing software and hardware, Nokia has created. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail from phone design to OS. I value this phone more and more with every year I use it.
Very interesting fact that later China released first copy of Nokia 3310 and the second phone they released was this one- "banana". Of course Chinese copies are awful and I'm not recommending to use them.
Nothing will compare to Nokia 3310, but if you want to have fold phone with colorful screen, 1 week battery life and perfect balance between inside and outside, Nokia 2720 fold is just for you.

I still have this phone.
I didn't know how Nokia made this phone then but obviously it was made to withstand the test of time.
The phone still works well.
The flip is solid.
Making and receiving calls, sending SMS and using the USSD channel for today's mobile activities is still very much alive on the phone.
Nokia just remix the phone in 2019 and 2021.

I've used Nokia flip phones for many years and been very happy, can't use touch screens - they ignore my finger. Bought a Nokia 2720 flip when my old phone died, I prefer a flip as I only use it as a phone and want it to be simple to operate and not pocket dial. Biggest problem with this model is the outside volume button, which sits exactly where your thumb sits when using the phone. Every call I have to check the volume hasn't turned off, but then it often turns off in my pocket or bag. No way to get rid of this button without dismantling the phone. BAD DESIGN. Some of us only want a phone, also can't delete all the useless crap programed into the phone - it just complicates the phone's basic use. Give us back the option of a basic flip phone without the extra technology.
