It was my Mum's first phone. This is the first phone I used internet on. Data prices used to be so high back then. My siblings and I used to have separate folders for ourselves😂

Yeah 2730 is a great phone. I recall one of my coursemates back in the university in 2010 had this phone. She used it to her major online assignments. I was just reminiscing on those times and the phone so I decided to come look it up. I read a previous comment where someone said it was her mom’s first phone and someone else in the family is using it till date. That’s pretty impressive. As a matter of fact, I am considering buying it again of course not brand new but I might have the challenge of getting the actual charger for it

This was my mom's first phone, and it has been continuously used by someone in the family until this very day. It does not look that great, but everything still works. 15 years of service.
It's not my favourite phone. I think the buttons are too tiny, and once you try a flip phone, nothing else compares. But this Nokia was reliable and repairable (easy to change the battery or buttons) and provided a connection between family members.
My mom has a Nokia smartphone now, btw :D

Today it stopped working - the last message it sent was a love letter to itself, telling it it was a good phone and I am grateful to it. RIP sweet 2730c. You earned your rest in silicon heaven.

I love this phone more than any other I've ever used. This is still my daily driver in 2024 - I am hoping to get it to the 3G shutdown in September. This is my fourth phone, bought as a replacement in 2010.... so it's about 13 years old. In that time it has lasted and lasted and aside from plastic degradation from my skin oils chemically attacking it, it has withstood all that has been thrown at it. I wish wish wish they would bring Series 30 back (not the new s30+) in beautiful, slimline devices like this.
My dream phone is a new 4g 2730c in a metal case of the same size with the original OS.

This is the only Nokia phone that I owned. It has really nice look for a feature phone and used to give really great in-hand feelings. Used to play all kinds of java games on this phone, but Gameloft's games were the best. Also used to browse internet for hours in opera mini browser. I had this phone for over 5 years but it got split in half by an accident. Man, I really missed this nostalgic phone. Wish there's a way I could purchase this in my country (Bangladesh). I searched for this but it's not available anywhere anymore.

My 2nd phone, my parents had to buy me a smartphone because there's BBM and social media apps which had started to become pretty crucial in sharing informations back when I'm in high school. Used this phone up until 2014, it has served me well. That smartphone I mentioned is also from Nokia, it's a Lumia phone but it only lasted like two years due to screen cracked and the shattered piece of glass literally pierced my finger. Things I mentioned is in chronological order, that means I skipped BlackBerry and directly went for smartphone.

this was my first nokia phone and was my second phone that i got in maybe 2012/2013 and i still have it and may use it again as 3g and 2g are still up in sweden

Bought it from Zellers when it first came out in 2009. Love how compact it is. If I need the net, I login at home on my iPad there. My charging port is starting to act up though? Any ideas how to fix that?

This is great phone for basic use. Lasts for a long time, (I've constantly used mine since 2009 to date). Free from invasive tracking and location identifying. Always use when overseas...great for privacy.
