instead of downloading ringtones via gprs through your provider, why don't you simply go to a site like zedge, download the ringtones to your computer and then transfer them to the phone via bluetooth? it's free!!
nobody downloads paid tones anymore, ya know...
i won't suggest you making your own ringtones using a program (there are many around). i've seen that you're not that good with computers - sorry, m8, but must be true if you find it difficult to transfer your photos to the computer using bluetooth :)
you're using the American version of the 2760, right?
it seems that there are differences between that one and the one we have in Europe - ours is so much better: voice, volume and reception are very good.
my brother has this phone (he's only 12) and i've used it a lot, always without any problem.
well, enjoy your 2760 m8s!
I'm a recent buyer of a 2760 and my experience indicates as follows. Takes pictures ok, but low resolution. I'm rather hard of hearing and find it difficult to understand callers. It's not volumes, but rather speaker quality. With the aid of a bluetooth dongle ($18.00 Can), I can upload pics to my computor; complicated, but it can be done. Hard to download ringtones to the phone though. Expensive too ($4.50 Can. each) I started out with a $50.00 card and expect that to last me the year so you can tell how little I use a phone. As a contract security guard, I must carry a phone by law. Otherwise I'd throw it it the garbage. (I hate phones of all types) This 2760 is the best I could find at the price as of this writing. It's simple to use, inexpensive, works well, does lots of things, and seems reliable. The instructions that come with it however, are very sparce. Some things you'll have to stumble through as best you can. Overall, for the money, I'd give this phone a thumbs up. Wish it had a USB connection though. Life would be so much simpler.....

don't blame Nokia for not adding a bluetooth dongle. LOL it is not to be used exclusively with mobile phones.
you have to get it from a computer shop or eBay, or your regular IT supplier.
looks like a small usb flash (pen) drive.
if you do a search (google it!) you'll see what it is.
here's an example:
I have an older 6030 that has a really good and loud sound but I wanted to upgrade. I got this 2760 last week and to me it sounds "tinny". Very hard to understand the person on the other end. I have the volumn up all the way as far as I know. Even the speaker sounds bad. Is it just this phone are are all 2760's that way? Also, it does not show as many bars in the reception part.?

You can download (and upload) via bluetooth.
If your computer doesn't have bluetooth:
-buy a usb bluetooth dongle, you know that thing that looks like a usb pen drive (really cheap these days, around 12EURO);
-pair your oomputer and your phone;
-transfer the files you want.
it is that easy. :)
Can I use the phone outside the US? In other words, does it contain all overseas frequencies 850, 1800, 900 and the 1900

Hi everyone. a few weeks back I bought the 2760 for my wife and she's so happy with the phone. I beleive its one of the best flip phones Nokia has made yet, with great features and reliability and very reasonably priced. To think I spent almost twice as much buying a new 3120 a few years back that had only half of the features.
I wanted to get a 6267 for my self, I beleive the 6267 would be my choice if I had to get a flip phone, but they are out of stock so I settled with an E51 thats also a great phone and selling like hot cakes (another classic!). So if it wasnt for these two great phones (2760 & E51) then I think I would have changed to another phone brand.
God bless you all.
