Nokia 6,5,3 will get Android O in Aug/Sept itself and Android O brings superior os optimizations in its release with boot times twice as fast and app loading times twice as fast as Android N. Nokia 6,5,3 which already are great in load times thanks to Nokia's optimization will become twice as fast in phone boot and app load times in Aug itself.
You will see other smartphones getting Android O in July/Aug of next year. Last year smartphones have still not got Android N.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2017Lol do you know the meaning of optimization??? pure android doesn't required any optimization.... moreToday's topic is software optimization!
What exactly is software optimization, you may ask?
Well to answer that question in the shortest way possible, I went to google to define software optimization for me. "... Optimization or software optimization is the process of modifying a software system to make some aspect of it work more efficiently or use fewer resources."
So software optimization the act of optimizing software to cooperate and operate efficiently with hardware. Alright! Now we are getting somewhere.
Lets take a look at two of latest successful examples of software optimization!
For years Apple has been criticized for selling overpriced hardware, but I think we can all agree that their products work well. So how is Apple time and time again successful in an industry that never stops evolving specifications?
The iPhone 6 (Yes, I said it), zips along on a measly Dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone processor and only 1 GB RAM. So how does the iPhone preform so well? Simply put, software optimization! Apple has invested more money and time into their software optimization than they have with hardware optimization. So naturally, of course, they manage to keep their phones running exceptionally well on insanely low end specifications.
The very first phone running on a dual-core 1.5GHz processor was revealed in 2011, made by now irrelevant Panasonic.
The iPhone 6 snaps pictures using a 8 MP rear facing camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera. Wait, what?! Many smartphone enthusiasts think that the iPhone 6 has one of the best cameras in the industry as well. Apple achieves this through very powerful image processing software! They have been working with 8MP rear facing cameras since the iPhone 4S's release in October 14 of 2011. What is the size of the iPhone 6's the battery, you may ask? Small. 1810 mAh small. Yet the iPhone 6 manages pretty decent battery life through software optimization. You can find an informative page about Apple's batteries here. It is believed that Apple sticks to lousy specifications to provide it's customers with attractive, slim and light feeling and appearing devices while keeping them up to date in terms of performance through software optimization. That's Apple's trick.
Nokia has done similar on optimization too.
