786 my friend good to see you in this forum. You made a good point in saying that people shouldn't fuss about the screen seeing that it's a budget phone. I still think the screen is big compared to series 40 phones of yesterday.
I also agree with M3 about it being a very balanced offering for it's class...more balanced than I would have expected myself.
That opinionist who said that most of the people who post here are a**h*l*s I quite agree and their English is so bad that you have to try hard to decipher what they are saying. Take a look at my posts, my writing is crystal clear in any forum (I mostly post in 6230 forum). I don't give people any headache in trying to figure out what I'm saying. Some people are so silly, they talk about a phone SHOULD have this and that, completely ignoring the class the phone belongs to. If a phone was to have all the features each and every individual complains about then NOBODY would be able to afford it. Have some SENSE people !!!
Back to the matter at hand, this phone exceeded my expectations in terms of specs. and those of you who bashes it probably don't know anything about phones. I see it as being a midrange phone with high-end features. I honestly don't see how anybody could ask for anything more from this phone. I will consider this phone after seeing the price. Big up 786.
whoever is fusssing about the small screen on this phone..dudes wat the hell...its a budget phone...not a N-Series phone...small budget on buying small screen...its a gooood phone..has everything.....Sonyerricson are still putting VGA cameras in there budget phones..and Sonyerricson budget phones have NO memory card slot this 3110 has a microSD slot..goood eh!!!!!
This will be the best low-end phone by Nokia when it comes out. It is a very balanced offering. I could even consider it as a backup phone.
Proper phone...note that there is no space under the last keys of the keypad....but this is a phone in good pricerange:
FM mmc slot and nokia brand name with reasonable looks...ok the screen could be better but its after all a budget phone no??
good work nokia..
i'm gonna consider buying this for sure when i know its price
why are those people keep bashing low ends? hey man, please note that 3/4 of the world population are being occupied by middle to poor people. and if you are one of those rich ones, then stay away from this thread. this phone is promising for those who have tight budget, nokia wants to offer those who can't afford high-end phones with such features the same features they have seen in high-ends but in a bit lower quality. bear in mind that N-series targets rich people and the number series targets middle to low end users.
see how technology rapidly improves...
Seems to have a clean design & good keypad, thats wat a common man needs in a phone, its very class. I am looking forward to buy it.
I Think now that Nokia and Motorola with his 3110 clasic and W510, perhaps are trying to convert the 1.3 megapixel cameras into the new mid range phones. VGA will be for low end models..
The phone is nice for its features, Nokiaa and Sony Ericsson phones are cheap in my country not like Motorola or Samsung...
To those people who don't like the display when then buy a N or E Series...
MAny people who post here are a** h*l*s. Haven't realize yet that many people can't afford to buy Walkman Phones, Samsung Ultra Musics line, or Nokia Xpress Music.
Not everyone have the amount of money to buy those high end phones, that why these companies are still making phones with low screen, but with a better camera or viceversa. So they can keep the phone at a mid range price. They put some cool features but eliminate others. In order to not make the phone so expensive.
to pat :
Price wise, if it's a used one then sure. If you're referring to a brand new phone, I'll have some of what you are smoking dude...
some people posting here seem to be not aware that this is a low end phone and therefore should be compared to other low end phones. This one has a featureset comparable to nokia 6230i, a top model 2 years ago (except for screen). Nice design, has all novice users need, usb2 port, suppose to have durable casing. It will surly be a big hit for nokia.
Yeah, nice one nokia, we all love big phones with small screen at a high price.
knowing nokia they will slap a high price for this phone just because it is a classic and has the nokia name on it
design...bleachh,it looks 2 much like 6030, whatever...nice performance...
Dude, do you even read what i wrote.
The said that the classic name fit the phone perfectly when you compare it to other N model, and it is a perfect phone because many others were complained about the name classic doesnt fit the phone!
I DONT SAY THAT IT IS A BAD PHONE!
I see all the controversy already surrounding this phone. To the person who says that 1.3MP camera is old, don't forget it's NOT a high end phone a few years ago a phone of this calibre would have had a CIF camera (0.1MP) so this is a vast improvement for a 3xxx series phone.
To the person who compares it with the ROKR E2, DON'T forget this is NOT a music phone like ROKR.
To the person who says it's a boring phone, tell me of another non-symbian Nokia phone that has H.264.
To the person who suggest N73, you are way out of league in comparing the N73 to a simplier phone like this.
My thoughts that it's a nice welcome seeing that Nokia's designs haven't been up to par of late. The features are cool and the design is cool compared to the Nokia phones of last year. Stop complaining and welcome the phone in the market
For the record, I own a Nokia 6230 (the KING of all phones) and I'm yet to find a suitable replacement.
hi gulz n guys...!
all the phones are goog but leading is e90 n n77. 3110 will hit the low end market its really classic.....!
e90 is very gud bcoz of its latest software, colour n best camera with 30fps video recording.
n77 lacks 3.2 mp camera however colours n tv tech is good...
i love nokia.
asl, its very nice phone by nokia perfect 4 daily use. if u want the best n amazing phone then n73 is already in markete............... ;)
