the keys are fine nice and big. The battery should have lasted up to 4 days, but mine is a Euro model with GSM mode not available. I have to run on Dual Mode (3G + GSM) so it dranis the battery... but still two days of use is what I get. So you decide

nope... you cannot unless you subscribe to 3G and have video chatting / conferncing etc facilities. This feature was always there even with version 7. Like I said... not many changes in version 10.

thanks for your reply... you seem to be into these stuff as well. Well great! now we have two of us. So, can you tell me what's new about 10.30? is it worth the upgrade? only available for Euro models you said? ... can Navifirm upgrade the FW version to the latest? I suppose it would depend upon the product code and the region.

You need a Nemesis Service Suite (NSS) just google for it and install. Once installed, connect the phone and when it reads the number... you can input the new number and write. You'll have to search for a new mumber first... one that will work and that has proven to have version 10.00. You can get that thru google also. Best of luck... ask me if you have any further problems.

product code,entered it in to software updater,it even showed as v.10,but on connecting the phone it still reverted to v.7.16, the phone is a 3 one,but unlocked so i tried a virgin sim..no difference!

Nice Phone to get with!!
Good user interface.
Nice keypad,easy to use.
good sound clarity,camera quality and that too with a flash!!!
All in all a best package for those who are aspiring for a multimedia handset in a midrange.

nd by the way......i hav two nokia 3120c.....the one i use frequently nd modify is the graphite version(i also hav mocha).....im frm india.....nd the latest firmware is 9.41...i changed my product key to EURO using nemesis(this step is not necessary....jst did it for fun)....then i downloaded navifirm to download the latest firmware i.e 10.30 nd it was only available for EURO..(huh???)....then flashed my phone wid 10.30.....thats it....nd by the way i like ur enthusiasm ASHMAN.... email me for more info ashwin.prakas@gmail.com

I assume your cell is tied up with a provider like 3 or vergin or something. In that case you cannot get new fimware.
What I did was changed the product code to a different one. Ofcourse doing so will cost you the warranty if your phone is under warranty period. Once you change the code, then you can upgrade the firmware. But I also feel that there is nothing new in the new firmware. No significant improvements of any sort.

re firmware versions i live in the u.k. but cannot update my firmware to v10.0, i have tried entering a different product code to give me v10.0 downloaded it to pc and tried a 3 sim and a virgin one,i am assuming it works on your i.p. address so it knows you are in the u.k. and reverts by default to v7.16. any ideas anyone? thanks
