I've noticed the different specs too... seems like everybody is confused here. While some users say it works with 8GB,... at least we can be satisfied with using 4GB cards. As for me the 2GB card provided by the retailer is more than enough and I am quite satisfied.

This cell has more than one font size as an option. So you can configure what font size to use. The display is great.

Not sure if anyone has noticed this. These Specs state that this handset supports up to 8GB of external memory, On the Nokia website it says it supports up to 4GB. I would go with the Nokia website specs on this, and it is very unlikely that a handset retailing for around $170 would support 8GB external memory.

Hey people,
I'm actually researching for a mid range phone for my dad, for this coming father's day.. I find 3120c the best mid range phone..
But 1 question, my dad's eye sight has got problem.. he prefers big fonts.. I guess u all realize that current phones comes in quite small fonts, so i was wondering if 3120c is suitable for him..
He was using a 6070 & he was satisfied with it which means that phone's font size is suitable for him..
So ya, my question is that is 3120c's font size suitable for my dad's problem?

have someone surf internet through this mobile USB or bluetooth without any problem. does this phone connects without any hassle. does it hangs while surfing.

Recently my phone's TFT screen got cracked and I got it replaced from a local retailer, but when I got the repaired mobile, all the contacts in the phone internal memory, messages and the data in memory card was lost. Can I recover it from some source? Contacts is what is most important to me. Please help me out friends - I desperately need ur help

Myself vaibhav, and i too have nok.3120-c.
Its keypad feel is amazing...its 3g network is amazing...it is the best 3g phone in its money range. Samsung L700 is ur alternate with nice shining steel body.
But nokia3120 has alot better video and cam quality...and a better support for software...u shall go for nokia.

jessamine, 15 May 2009wat is the latest version of this phone 9.71?The latest firmware version depends upon several factors.
1. Where the phone was made
2. Serial number of the phone
3. When the phone was made.
I think the version for your phone could be anything from V7.16 to V10.0.
This is all very strange, but very true... now why would Nokia issue so many different versions of the same model with different hardware inside?
But I guess even if you have V7.16 and cannot upgrade, there is no need to dispair.... because Nokia has found no need for upgrades for these phones at the moment. It thinks the phones are sound and have no problems at the moment.

Knight, 15 May 2009Can someone please give us the best equalizer settings?If you scroll down the posts in this forum, I believe it was Shiny (Sorry, I'm not to sure) has posted a comment on the Equalizer setting. You could follow his direction for the setting...
or simply custom tweak the equalizer until you get the best bass output and the treble to suite your personal requirements. Remember some tracks sound better with more bass and some with more treble... it is a more of a personal preference. Then you can save the new setting by giving it a name and activate the setting for playing music.
