Sorry to tell u that there's no built-in auto keylock function for 3230.

However, there's a lot of 3rd party auto keylock software out there. Try search for it at some of the symbian phone forums.

Get Symbianware's Power Dictaphone. Very cool program. Once I tried a 20mins recording and took me only less than 800kb i think.

Don ask me where to get it. Just read all the posting and look for places where u can get some FREE software if u know what i mean ;)

This set is a very good set,
having superb clearity of its camera,
      radio is top class,
      talk time is minimum,
has a good mp3 player but poor voice
should had been with stereo phonic sound,
      also low internal memory.
top class show, glossy look and is a cool set

One more thing.. SOund is not sharp at all, my bro has N9500 communicator and the sound is great. I transfered some ring tones from his phone into my N3230, pretty much disappointed .. .. I have FW 3.0505.2 RM-51 in my N3230.. Is there any way to enhance sound quality????

If urs is warranty set then do it at Zitron or any Nokia Care Centre. If not, well good luck to u. Ask any of these two place whether they willing to do it at a price.

                  Farhan:
What vince said is true. U can't exit a program by just pressing the red button. U probably open too many program. The memory out warning is not refering to ur memory card space but rather ur phone RAM.

A quick way to see what program is opened is by pressing and holding the menu button for about 2s. To close any of the program, u can scroll to that program and press c. Or u wanna jump to any of the programs, scroll to it and press the joystick select button.

Isn't symbian phone cool? We can do multitasking like computer programs! ;)

Farhan, i realised after a while that whenever you have open an application like Phone list, Calender, Game or anything at all, you cannot just press the red button to get back to the main screen like any other phone, coz it'll leave all those application remain "opened". Now you have to go back to those applications and press the "Exit" key(which is above the red button) in order to really "Close" them.

Also when sometimes i shoot a pic from this, it says Memory full, close some application and try again.. Why is that so.. when there is just 2 or 3 pics saved in.. Please help me out in this.
                        Regards,

This phone has been giving me great fun since I bought it 2 month ago. I upgraded the FW to 4.0526.2ch after 10 days, when I sent over 60 sms to myself to test for vibration in silent.Yes,its stupid..cos only later then I realised its the FW fault.
Anyway,i loaded lots of *ahem* cracked games and applications.Today, saw an article saying abt this developer, PSILOC..that in order to beat piracy, they actually wrote the software in such a way that it overload the phone's capability (or something like that).Just so happened that my phone shut off at least 7 times just today alone, which never happened before.
Guess I have to be careful with PSILOC's stuff, and at the same time,go for an upgrade again...somebody mentioned 4.0537.0 eh?

I've upgraded to the new firmware. Well, eventually they gave me V4.0526.2ch version. I'm still in the midst of reinstalling and reconfiguring back all my stuff. Really not easy at all coz I got too many stuffs. Very messy now :(

Well, the 1st thing I checked was the built-in camera program. That alone makes me happy enough... coz the picture now look ok. Really no more fat picture.

As for the sound I didn't notice much difference though. The beep before any call or sms is indeed very soft now. Haven't checked on the silent mode sms vibration but I think that should be ok.

Speed wise... I still need to observe. Nothing really significant so far. But I did notice that now whenever I play a smartmovie avi file, the starting part is no longer jerky like it used to. Not sure is it really due to the improved firmware or is it becoz half of the background (memory resident) programs aren't not active yet.

Ok... enough for now... really got to get my phone back to its previous "shape" ;)
