i have it for 20 days ,i hav many prbs with it,low speaker sound,hanging,restarting,giving system errors,
please any tell me how to inc spk volume &about latest softs, firmwares
i m feeling depressed after buying this.

i am looking forward to buy a new phone & i have selected two of em, one is the N3230 & N6630. i request all of u to reply me that which phone should i pick coz i really dont want to regret after purchasing as i've heard about N3230 it does not have a good video & also mp3 is not so good

had the phone used it for four days, the keypad just screwed up, it has something to do with the top board of the keypad, its too thin,numbers become jumbled and will not function well.in terms of features i really liked everything but the physical set-up can't support the overwhelming software it has so overall, i rate the phone as...too bad it had to be in that body.

well....i am going for a new phone by the end of this month and i am confused whether the 3230 is better or the 6260.
do let me know frankly with no prejudice about either-especially tell me in terms of sound quality and applications which is better camera dosen't matter that much.
pls hurry and let me know i would be going for one soon.

Sorry didn't know that :)I didn't know it's a software problem,i've read that this phone's hardware doesn't support stereo mp3.But if you say that upgrading makes the difference...my mistake :)

if u compare nokia 6230i with 3230, which 1 has a better sound qulity in both loud speaker and earphone ? and also, do both phones contain stero speakers ?

can anyone help me i have a program on my memory card but when i try to install it from the .app file the phone shows a message that says something like:for safety reason it cant be opened.can i turn this warning thing off somehow??

@Mihai, i beg to differ regarding the phone playin mp3 in mono only..the new upgraded version (v4.0526.2) plays mp3s in stereo..(though quality isnt THAT great)..and usin 3rd party mp3 apps will produce even better sounds..yup..

Sqcif(128x96)/with sound: Bit Rate: 71kbps ; Frame Rate: 11.18fps
Sqcif(128x96)/mute: Bit Rate: 66kbps ; Frame Rate: 14.90fps
Qcif(176x144)/night mode/with sound: Bit Rate: 40kbps ; Frame Rate: 3.65fps
Qcif(176x144)/night mode/mute: Bit Rate: 36kbps ; Frame Rate: 3.68fps
Qcif(176x144)/mute: Bit Rate: 66kbps ; Frame Rate: 10.01fps
Qcif(176x144)/with sound: Bit Rate: 70kbps ; Frame Rate: 6.45fps
Note 1: I used the same light conditions and I recorded the same place in all modes.Time per videoclip approx. 30 sec. each.
Note 2: My Nokia 3230 was: V 3.0510.0 / 06-03-05 / RM 51 (I don't know if a software upgrade will improve the camera performances.Let me know,pls)
Note 3: This test was repeted twice with a slight difference between the Frame Rates (max. 0.50 difference)
Note 4: Remember: I'm not a proffessional tester!

The mp3 on this phone is dual mono so it doesn't matter if you're using another program because it cannot play stereo,only the Fm is stereo. :(

To all guys who r searching for msvdriveE.sis u can logon to www.mobango.com and create a login of ur one and u will get it free or u can also try it on www.getjar.com.
Can any one suggest me which mp3 player for n3230 will have equalisers option for better music quality, otherwise the mp3 of n3230 is too bad even with 128kbps stereo sound.

in my opinion mpeg is better then 3gp,more clarity...About the ngage games,yes they can be played on 3230

To ralph
use msvDriveE(which was created for ngage but works on 3230 too) to save you messages to MMC.Give a Google search and if you don't find it tell me and I'll send it to you

there's no option if what/where to save the messages..

Man, you have some serious problems!Why are you so upset?it's MY opinion so it doesn't have to be the same,no?Plus you don't know me therefore you DO NOT have any idea about having or not having money to buy myself another phone so KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSE,dude!Oh,and judging by your reaction to my opinion,it seems that you find yourself(/your phone)in my treat.And i stop here because this is not a battle ground.People are interested in phones,opinion about them etc.
