in order for you to send .jar or .sis files using seleq or file explorer change or rename the file like .sis to .sis_ or any name will do...
Yes! ProfiExplorer let us send all kinds of files! Hmm, actually I only did a test on midi file. Sent one to a friend's 6230i. Too bad no symbian 60 phones around so couldn't try .sis and .jar files yet. But I think it will do. So guys... and gals... go get it. The program is called Profimail. U can forget about the mail program if u don't use it.
FSCaller is not for taking photo. It's a full screen picture caller. Photorite is a must have.
There's a program called Profimail and bundled together is the ProfiExplorer which people claim can send even protected files via bluetooth. I have yet check it out. Let u all know after I try it.

may i know which brand of RS-MMC 512MB is the best in Malaysia if dont compare their price? Kingmax (5yrs warranty), twinsMOS (wholelife warranty), apacer(not sure) or ... ?
guys, why does photo safe pictures saves in phone memory and not in memory card.please comment
I still think card reader is the best choice. With card reader, u can transfer big files fast. And infact u can actually backup the whole memory card including all the system files. So when u change to new RS-MMC, u just copy the whole thing to the new card. Bluetooth is for transfering small files conveniently. USB i never use b4. I think that's in between bluetooth and card reader. Probably faster that bluetooth but I'm sure Nokia will hide all the system files so u don't get to "see" much compare to card reader.
Yes, 3230 can do that too. This one I didn't hear from somebody else. I done it before myself.
n another question is wat is the best hardware dat can transfer the MMC to PC? izit bluetooth, usb cable, card reader or ... ?
The sales person recomment a hardware call 'Premium Pack' for me. we can put the RS MMC on it n it has a usb port to connect wif the PC. izit nice to use?
hi, im from Malaysia. i jz bought the n3230 today n i would like to add the memory to 512MB. i get some information from the sales person n may i know which RS-MMC is the best (if dont compare the price) ?
1) TwinMOS (wholelife warranty)
2) Kingmax (5 yrs warranty)
3) Apacer (not sure)
or any others recommendation?
Thanx for the suggestion

Thnx and cheers
Try look at this place and study how to do it. I myself isn't using it so I can't tell u much. But do read everything clearly before u go and do something u may regret.
the problem with recieving more than 4+Mb file transfer with this phone can be solved by using a little app called forward.sis. This app will forward all files recieved to your inbox. You can then open the file in your inbox and save it on the phone or card. I use it in conjuction with MsDriveE.sis which I have my mailbox moved to drive E on my memory card, so all big files goes straight to my memory card, and not on my limited phone memory storage space.
i have a problem here!
why Nokia 3230 cant receive any files that is larger than 4.8mb from another phone through bluetooth??
Everytime i receive the low memory warning on Nokia 3230. Nokia should built a phone with atleast 15mb on board memory....really it is nuisance.
Any solutions to it??
should have gotten another phone!! :(
What do u mean the bitrate and freq I use to listen? Do U mean what bitrate and freq the mp3 files were encoded? I got different types ranging 128kbs to 190kbs. The 190kbs ones are those I got from friend mp3 cds. I didn't bother to downgrade it coz resampling from mp3 to mp3 will lower the sound quality a lot. But that shouldn't have any effect on the volume or distortion sound (well in fact it may introduce more distortion). The only benefit of having lower bitrate and freq is space and processing power I think. But I'm too lazy to resample some of my song and keep 2 sets of the song in my PC.
Sometimes I think how one define sound is lousy, distorted or flat is a very subjective matter. I personally are very particular when it comes to sound. 3230 is in fact never a good mp3 player whether using the loudspeaker or the headset. But I don't really bother anymore coz it got other attractive functions ;-) If what I really want is sound, I would have exchanged it with Sony Errison or Motorola long time ago.
What do u mean u use dBPowerAmp but volume is low? Is that ur mp3 encoder or that's a phone player program?
For info I use the Nero burners' mp3 encoder. Used to use mp3pro encoder (but not using the mp3pro mode) by Nero but later I use the Lame encoder which Nero bundled and it's free. BTW, do u all know u can encode AAC file using Nero? It's actually mp4 but u got to select an option at the mp4 -- something like export to ISO blablabla AAC.
