To the person stating that the screen is the same as that of 6600 just open ur eyes and see clearly it's far better than 6600,7610 and even 6630 dont spred any wrong news and to jhon yes it can play movie clips

how does one resolve the photos getting stretched sideways, thus making the person in the photo look fat, if not fatter? help! thanks!

Can anyone tell me why the Nokia 3230's screen can easily get so dusty?Is the picture quality so dusty or the screen get dust from outside?

I had been waiting 4 tis phone for quite sometime n it finally came out sometime in April in Singapore. I had rush to grab one.
After using for less than a month, I had sold it away.
This phone had so many problems even the handphone also dnt wan to take my second hand phone.
Mayb it due to me not familiar with the syb software...but there's still problems...
Here are just some of the problems:
1.Dust is so easliy go under the screen display and u just cant get it off.
2.So many software bug..when I set a MP3 song as my ringtone, it sometime came out the stupid M1 ringtone!!!!
3. No auto keypad lock
4. Once u open an application (or just a phone list), if u jump straight bk to the main menu, that application is still running. So when u can open other application, it told u no enough menmory, pls close all application. Then I had 2 find through all applications to chk which is the one is running.
5. The camera is so much lagging. When the button was pressed, it took at least 2 more sec b4 it actually took the photo even though u heard the click sound once u pressed the button.
6. The taken photo is not in ratio, it seems the pic was expanded in side way.
7. The phone hang abt twice a week.
....and the list goes on...
tell me how can I keep this phone....sigh.

Wow, the battery on my 3230 lasted for almost 6 full days. I've been talking 5-10 min every day and played with the camera during the weekend. I have full signal reception at home and work. Good standby if not doing much with the phone. Far better than my old 6230.

I'm choosing bet 3230, 6230i & SE K700i. Can somebody tell me what is the OS of 6230i? I'm about to buy cellphone for myself as update. I'm through with siemens units for over 5 yrs.

Had two of these phones. The 1st had dust under the screen and so I sent it back, the second one's speaker didn't work correctly. Dissapointed, oh yes. Now ordered the sony with a 2mp camera.

a normal mmc is taller than a rs-mmc, i think.
a question. have the 3230 the same display like a 6670 or which dysplay is better????

nokia3230 has card slot for RS MMC so it wont fit MMC.

To everyone who is having a problem with the phone memory and the memory card issue...i have the perfect solution..its a software called MSVDRIVEE ..its workin allrite now..i noe i mite be the last one to noe..but still..hopefully i have helped some ppl...
FEW ISSUES..
its effective 1.3..but takes pics at 1.2..is it possible to increase anyway?
does nokia 3230 onli support RSMMC...does it also support MMC onli...i was wondering coz i have a 1 gb mmc card..so yea

i got this problem.... my rs-mmc can't be read in the computer using a card reader.. but the card can be used in the phone.... the card brand is san disk.... i tried readin the card in other computer using other card reader but it still wont work... when i insert the card in to the card reader and i open my computer click on removerble drive and it just say please insert the card someting lyk that.... so is it the phone prob or the card????? it works on phone but not PC

nokia3230...slightly better than the panasonic..it has 1.3mp cam, radio(stereo via headset) but the mp3 player is not stereo, 48 ch ringtone, EDGE...but the screen will get dusty after a few days of usage..sound quality via loud speaker not so good to be compared with nokia 6670..depends on you which feature suitable with ur lifestyle.
