You can't put blc5c in 3230 because it has different size. For long battery life use dual voltage rs mmc card,always shut off your bluetooth and put your speaker volume lower.

When i sync my Outlook calendar with the PC suite, the appointments on Outlook doesnt get coipied on the phone calendar. But the phone appointments does eventhough bothway sync is enabled. It doesnt give any error, just the log says 0 items were modified. Please let me know if anyone knows anything about this problem. Thanks in advance.

To delete the games:
Tools>Application Manager then choose what you want to delete!

I had just downloaded some games into my 3230..saved in my memory card..But now i got problems deleting them..Any advise on how to get rid of those unwanted games without formatting the whole mem card?

Hello guys, has anyone tried putting a bl-5c battery in the 3230 to increse battery time. The bl-5c and 5b are the same size i think.

between 6670 and 7610, 6670 is slightly better feature-wise. 7610 looks ppl like.
but 3230 got more ie radio and EDGE. n i like its looks. its solid but u cant replace covers.
and guys how can dust get behind screen? what exactly do you mean by that? how can it get there, a screen got no holes. even if its in there how can u see it thru screen???

today after 2 months I am posting my view for 3230
I DO AGREE that it has dust problem getting inside ur screen even though u protect it nokia should have seen that this is complain from majority users and also phone has 2.5 hrs of continuos talk time I am aware because there is sometimes continuos 2 hrs of talking so it works and also ring tones are little slower when u play in mp3 mode but set it as ring tone and it sounds louder
the screen is much brighter compare to nokia6630 I have nokia6630 also but this creen is much brighter than nokia6630
second browisng is good same as nokia6630 and also upgrade ur card to 512 u will never have memory card problems as load it on card so main phone memory is free

hi every body today i was really dissapointed. i got a 3230 n i realized it cant store sms into the card. I have a 7610 n they allow to store sms in card. Is there anyway to store sms in card for 3230 eg. any software???????/ thanks

do you have this proplem in your nokia 3230???when screen is light it make low noisy which appear clearly after you record vedio , if u near your ear from screen you will hear it
so i dont know that im only have this proplem or this in all nokia 3230

this phone is good look and thin in size. However, if you ask if it is a great phone I would say no. Some basic functions for non-Symbian phones, e.g. 6230, K700i and even 1100 are surprisingly missing in this new gadget. And the size of the included MMC is far to small. I would suggest 6230i..or 6230 would be good enough.

Im about to buy the Nokia 3230. I think its an awesome phone for an awesome price.Ive used my friend's and its much much faster than the 7610 or 6600 . :)
Now ...ive heard a lot that u cant change the incoming message from bluetooth or Ir to mem card?I tried it on my friend's phone..but couldnt find any option. Is there anyway that can be done?
Secondly...can u guys tell me the name of some good sites where i can download good free SYMBIAN software for this phone ? Cant find any site for the cool softwares.
Lastly,i am a person who changes handset's every 10 months. Taking the 3230 i feel would provide me with good lasting capacity till mayb arnd a year and a half..wat say ?

Thanks for your suggestion kholio, pvplayer does work in full screen mode, but a huge UNREGISTERED symbol flashes accross the screen. Do you have the registered version, and if so, can you please post the link to me please :-)

Guys, how's the camera, does it compete with S700i's or even the 6230i?!!
I think it's crappy, mono MP3 and bad camera, I don't know what is Nokia trying to do, the only good thing about that phone is Symbian & Design
