An alternative is to set the clock to display in 'Analogue'. You'd see a clock face with a numeral, representing the date.
i really enjoyed to read your burnt hearted post to jullian .... i wonder if you really have read all the approx 60 pages and learnt them by heart. you're really geneous but i don't think others could be that much like you .... and this place is for everyone. people will come here and ask the same question even for the 392th time or may be more until this page exist but its not your responsibility to reply them everytime so better ignore them and be cool.
I bought this Phone a couple of weeks ago. The phone really rocks. I need to know how to make the date appear in the first page where we have the clock running. The Date appears only in the General Profile. It doesn't appear in any other profile. Does any one have a solution for this? any freeware for Full screen photocaller ID?
Thanks for your reply. I can't find the msg because there are over 60 pages . It's hard for me to find it. Thanks anyway for your help
Well for people who are still wondering what is the Compatible Memory Card for the 3230..
It works on the RS-MMC but Nokia are now recomending the DV RS-MMC[ popularly known as MMC Mobile card] for all its mobiles as the Dual Voltage cards improve Battery life..
Small expert, did the pictures taken by the 3230 look compressed?
Especially when you take say, pictures of your family or friends, their face turns out 'compressed'?
Just encountered a small inconvenience. I am not able to select the visual radio option in stand by mode for any of the soft keys. This is not a problem as such, But can it be overcome ?
Guys, got the phone yesterday and who says the phone is not good ?!?!?!?! Yes I agree that its not good.....
BUT IT " TOTALLY ROCKS "
May i know who else is still facing the camera unproportionality problem?
ie. circular objects turn out ovalish, or facial features turn out flatten. its akin to the overall effect being compressed.
to those who asks questions with issues that have been discussed/highlighted/shared before, you're totally not respecting those who hv discussed such before!
make an effort to read those previous posts before asking! you'd get a very very clear idea and a better understanding of the issues.
posting rule > "read before you post. search before you post. there is a big chance that your question is already answered"
Congratulations, you're the 152nd person to ask such similar question! I applaud you for not reading the previous posts at all! Its amazing! How do you do that??!
YES, WE HEAR A TOOT sound like your TUT-phone and we face the same exact problems! GOSH, it really helps if you read the old posts.
While we can easily ignore people like you who doesnt even bother about our existence (that we've mentioned such issues before), but we can't help it but to advice you..but on a different language. How would you like to repeat and repeat it? If we keep quiet, you'd think none of us are helping and cry foul.
Your photo editor thingy in the greek language mode....CONGRATULATIONS! Its' been mentioned before TOO! For the English version, go to the Nokia Asia Pacific website and look for the N3230 site, download the APAC version from there!!!!!
READ THE PREVIOUS POSTS CAUSE WATEVER U'VE MENTIONED HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then why did you buy it to cry? Before buying it...over the counter or at the shop...didn't you cry first??
Why cry over spilt milk?
You should have done your homework/research first before purchasing than to cry and lament now.
know wat???this phone makw me cry tat day!..i'm so regret for buying this phone!no class at all!....u'll regret buying this phone...
Does anyone hear a warning tone before message tone/ringtone starts to sounds?
I.E: It goes like "tut" then the ringing tone.
And I try to install the photo editor in ENGLISH mode, but it still appear in GREEK LANGUAGE. I'm frustrated with it. is it faulty?
Can anyone help? Or does someone has the same problem as mine?
whats the use of those downloadable symbian sdks on their websyt? do i really need to download those things?
and i still dont know, whats the compatible memory card for 3230, is it RSDV-MMC or just RS-MMC rather...
and could you all pls. share some websites where it can improve and update my 3230...?!
filipino guys from dubai
i'm sure you know your mp3 songs are either saved in your phone's memory or in the rs-mmc yes?
So...go to profiles, select the profile that you want to personalise, and since you want to set your ringing tone to the mp3 song of your choice, just select your 'ringing tone, line 1' and choose the song. slowly slowly scroll and you find the song with a .mp3.
This advice is useful and effective...if....you have an mp3 saved into your phone memory/mmc. If not, kindly ignore the above advice.
ALTERNATIVELY, go to the gallery and to that specific folder where your wonderful mp3 songs are stored and select your desired track. it'll launch and play in the music player. stop the track, go to options and select 'set as ringing tone'.
if all this fails, then read the manual. coz wat i've written is based on the manual and some self exploration.
explore your phone, you'd learn more things yourself and its either you'd appreciate those little moments where u go 'ahh..so i can do these...' or you go 'huh?? so strange...y cant i do this...y is there this beep?!'
i can set mp3 as ringtones???can sumone tell me how....emel me pls....email@example.com....thank you.........
