i would love it if someone gave me 3230 :D
hehehehehe..
i like the design, some may find it plain & boring.
but i like it because it looks simple.
the big screen is a plus.
3230 has a "business look" (or whatever the term is) like the 6 series.
i don't a need fashionable phone, so i go for 3230.
i haven't bought it yet (waiting for the price to drop),
but i've held the real one & it's not as big as i thought.
the 2 upper keys next to joystick are too small.
the keypad is fine, takes a while to get used it.
i think it won't be comfortable for ppl with big fingers, since the keypads are cramped.
but then again, you have to try it yourself & see how you like it.

Hmm... not really, its a boyish phone. My cousin bro loves it. i like the features but 50-50 on how it looks!!!
i would prefer something much smaller!

I too like the 3230 and its within my budget also. I would love to buy my dad the 6680 but its way over the money i've collected. i really like the 6680.

I understand its Mono MP3, but how s the sound quality when using with Headphones?

I bought the phone a week ago and i'm happy to say that it's the best phone I've had. I didn't find anything wrong with it (including the bugs mentioned here). Of course, I would have liked a stereo mp3 player, but I use the mp3 player only as a secondary solution, mainly I listen to the radio, which I'm happy to say it's the best from Nokia yet (better than 6230, 5100 etc.). It's very well built and I like the design very much. So, all in all, I like the phone very much and it's worth all 415 euros I payed for it.

with that budget, i think you should go for 3230.
it's around 425 USD (Rs 18.608)
i like 3230 because it has infra red,
therefore i can transfer data from my old phone.
besides, it has a nice big screen compare to 6230i.
6680 is more expensive, with loads of features 265 K colors, 3G. I think it’s think going to be more than 532 USD (Rs 23,300)

Is the N3230 better that the N6600?
Where is it available in delhi for rs. 16,500?
I dont know much about mobiles. i am buying this for my dad for his bday.
Any suggestions? He doesnt want any other brand. He is keen only on nokia.
He also doesnt want a filp-flap model.

nokia 3230 is truly an awesome phone and wat makes it so dashing is the fact that it provides a host of facilities at an affordable price unlike other models in its category ;also the mp3 player is an improvement over the nokia 7600 ;6600 and 6230;its wat i wud like to say a stereo player

It has been just a day since i have had this Interesting mobile...Had a 6230 b4..still have the masterpiece..It is much better mobile than this one as far as satisfaction is concerned..A much better MP 3 player..a whole lot faster..the picture though of lesser resolution[0.3 MP] is very smooth esp when transfered on to the PC...BUT the 6230 was bad in the begining as soon as it was launched, the Firmware was improved gradually...I hope Nokia do the same thing to the 3230..because I feel this mobile has a lot of POTENTIAL..
As of now i feel the photos with the Camera look good on the mobile but very rough with lots of dots visible when transfered to the PC..
Guys could someone tell me of a software that plays aac files.I have got Ulta MP3 Player installed on the mobile..But it doesnt support aac.MP3 files occupy about 4 times that of an aac file..

does anyone know where to buy off the internet which delivers in the uk. Because Orange uk are taking to long there keep telling me next week next week hopefully. well hurry up and get the phone. i think whis is because orange likes to put all there crappy logos in the softwere
