Thanx alot viperkid ur a real buddy,
anyway do u know where can i get some pics of 3250? decent 1's not in green or pink color ;)
W900 has great sound quality and camera quality and excellent 30 fps QVGA video capture and playback but as u said u r used to 6600 OS so i think W900 is not for you and besides W900 can't accept symbian games/apps and chances r there r not that many themes available for it. not to mention its 3G capabilities! take note, its kinda bulky!
N70 has flash with many compatible symbian apps/games, great video capture, mediocre sound quality in loudspeaker and inbox earphone and its kinda slow in performance but it is 3G capable.
3250 has excellent loudspeaker quality and loudness and great inbox earphone quality too with great music management plus it supports more music formats like WMA and eAAC+ (in eAAC+ 1 full track is approx 1.6mb and u'll hardly hear d difference in quality between audio files encoded by 128 kbps in AAC/MP3 format vs. eAAC+ encoded by 48kbps!) dat means a 512 mb card (dat comes with 3250 if u live in d philippines, dubai) u can fit in around 300-350 songs! in MP3/AAC u'll get about 130-150 songs only in 512mb memory! not to mention its dedicated music keys, also u can search 'ala phonebook' on d music library and even categorize ur library by artist, genre, composer, playlist, etc! in still image quality, 3250 is kinda on d middle of good and great quality, same with video capture. but remember since 3250 is under OS 9.1 symbian there r only few freeware apps available currently and soon games will be available, on d other hand thousands of themes r updated to work with 3250 now. all we need to do is wait around 2-3 months more b4 old programs/games/themes r updated to enable em to work with 3250! with that drawback of incompatibiliy, d main reason is bcoz performance of 3250 is quite fast its about 75% faster than 6600 in every aspect of operation (e.g. opening msgs, pics, browsing pages, etc) its one d fastest S60 phones released by nokia to date (3250 owners can confirm that for sure)! 3250 is not 3G. also, it has no flash on d camera and there s no infrared port.
in d end its still up to u, what r ur preferences are... since u said u need good sound quality and good camera i'd suggest 3250 for you! : )
but if you love 3G services, get N70 or W900.
i tried this phone camera, it sounds good but when i used the zoom its clearance was getting low
Viperkid, i need ur help badly!
I wanna get a fone n i dunno wat 2 get i'm confused between w900, n70 & 3250.
I'm used 2 6600 OS but i can get used 2 any other system.
I need good sound quality, good camera (not neccessarily an excellent 1!) but most of all i need the good looks (w900 is a good lookin fone 2 me:))
So wat do u recommend, since ur an expert.
Thanx in advance n i hope u reply soon coz i'm gettin a fone in 2 days max.
Oh yeah and can any one tell me what size Memory Card this phone comes with please wb
viperkid or anyone
do u know whether nokia camera flash pd2 can worked on this phone by plugging into pop port?
u don't need to pretend to b someone juz to make FAKE complaints! u know dat pretty well, dont u, ARJ???? good luck on ur BUGGY W810 "blinks after turning on the light", hope dat SE fix dat stup*d bug! is dat wat u get with mr. carbonize?? now u know who's telling d TRUTH!
based on wat u said, battery will last approx 3 to 4 days! as long as u don't make a phone call longer than 10 mins!
yes, actually gsmArena just posted/translated mobilmania's review. the tested unit really had d old firmware, mobilmania confirmed it by saying:
"First, not even once did I manage to use the control buttons situated on the rotary segment of the phone. I have no other choice but to assume that this problem is caused by the firmware of the tested model. Let's hope that its FINAL VERSION will work seamlessly."
one more sign of UNFINALIZED firmware, mobilmania said:
"The device needs about HALF A MINUTE only to get started. No difference as to Nokia 6681, for example."
me and GENUINE 3250 owners will totally DISAGREE with the comments of mobilmania's reviewer bcoz it does not take half a minute, in REALITY it only takes around 15 - 17 seconds to be exact to boot 3250, plus d fact that d twisting thing works 100%!
yes, definitely the newer firmware made d sound quality better! also, take into account that another factor y mobilmania mentioned d bass elements r poor and d sound remained lame even wen using different earphones bcoz maybe they did not have enough time or did not manage to properly configure each band of d equalizer and used d default preset ones which r not good settings (perhaps they r used with SE phones having great preset equalizer settings)! let me share this to you, i plugged in my panasonic earphones and d acoustic elements and d diapason got better but since dat earphone can't handle too much bass i sorted to d inbox earphones provided which i think is better overall in sound quality, im planning to buy earphones by panasonic with bass booster capability very soon! once u hav ur 3250 juz tell me so i can giv u a screenshot of d best equalizer settings for 3250!
If any one wants to download themes for nokia 3250 visit http://symbian.mobilethemes.com/themes/nokia_3250/
Its really working
u mentioned in one of your opinion letters that the nokia 3250 that gsmarena used to review the product had old firmware and the reviewer noted that the sound is not as good, does this mean that the newer firmware made the nokia 3250 sound quality better?
Im gonna buy this phone it seems good and if i think the camera is crap then ill just buy a digital camera... but i think nokia is going quite bad on all there designs all the nokia phones are 2 big or dont have bluetooth..memory card blah blah i have been tempted 2 swap over 2 samsung but i just cant do it my friend just brought the samsung d600 the camera is 2MP and it amazin i have seen some movies from it and they are really good
the only way i know how to do it and it probably is the only way, is to stick the tiny memory card into an adapter and into a memory card reader then into your computer.
go on my computer, removable disk drive and make sure that your folders on the computer are not hidden because there will be a hidden 'system' folder on the memory card. copy that folder to your PC and the themes will be on it and whenever you want the themes back on your phone copy that folder back onto the memory card and it should work, thats how i used todo it with my old smartphone but im pretty certain it will work for the 3250, its worth a shot..
Any one know how to backup the theme of Nokia 3250's which are pre-loaded in the Memory Card(i,e Rock/Tchno)....i think if i format the mem card it is definatly erased...but i want to keep those themes permanatly in my PC and when needed i can re-install.....I connect the phone via PC-Suite and search via phone browser...in the memory card drive there is nothing i can find .....plz help....
Hey...am on the verge of buying a new model...onloy question....what is the battery life of this N3250. I mean...average use with music and cam...? Anyone plz!
i hate my nokia 3250, yes the sounds is good but the problem is the camera, compared to n70 and n90, 2mp and so?
try it, put your nokia 3250 on your magnetic pouch, it will unlock it automatically and it'll play alone, i was shocked when i was sleepin i thought therz a god damn ghost tryin to scare me, wahahahaha
can any one let me know how i can play my flash files on my nokia 3250
Im currently thinking of getting a 3250, the speaker quality it is better than the 7710 speaker if someone knows it would be great
this is to clear things up, u can find applications for 3250 now, here are d links:
