i had this phone a couple of years ago and it was an excellant telephone it was way ahead of its time but now its a brick. it always worked well and it was very reliable. i still have this phone put awy but i dont use it as i have been through many phones after this but this was one of the best.
Its durable, strong and a reliable phone with
a simple look and can be made excellent by increasing its phonebook and inbox capacity
i used to have this fone and i thought it was kool and i didnt think it was rubbish at all
Believe me, this phone is one of the most durable phones ever made in mobile phone history! I've tried to drop a 3310 of a 4 storeyed building and guess what, when I picked up the phone on the ground floor, I found only the cover of the phone cracked and amazingly the phone still works perfectly!!!!
Anybody knows how can i get all secret codes and cheats for this device?
If u have any information about this, please, share them with me by e-mail.
Man! i love this phone so much! it was 1 of the best phones ever made. wut i liked boout this phone is that u could change the covers n put the light up batteries on it. u could basically make ur very own unique phone. man it is also a very durable phone also. I work 4 T-Mobile n if they still had it where i work, i wud buy it!!!...
This was one of my first phones. The reception was not great, but, it could withstand nearly anything. Dropped it don't know how many times. Not the most modern but it's cheap and gets the job done
3315 is my 1st nokia phone and i remember that time nokia was really cool the phone have picture sms,can send/download ringtone and ringtone composer all these stuff from nokia phones which was popular and really interesting back then before those colour phones and polyphonic tones came out....
YES i agree to each comment the phone rocks ihad one 4years back and still use it often and still works fine looking at this i started trusting NOKIA SIMPLY LOVE IT...
this fone (3310 - 3315) is old but it stil rocks! how durable is it 2! myne is so old and it stil works. this aint just a cheap fone, its great. it is also so EASY 2 work, even my parents can work it. GREAT FONE EVERY1 SHOULD HAV 1!
LOVE THIS FONE ALWAYS
for the person who wanted an option above the normal housetelephone;
sms inbox capacity too small
Full colour LCD would be a better option for this handset
Hey guys it's really a great phone. the first Nokia i used and no regrets..... It's old but gold. This phone made me a fan of Nokia. Well done Nokia company..
Adeola, as the Nokia 3310 is so old it's unlikely Nokia still have the parts to repair it. If they did, as the phone is well outside its warranty the cost of getting it repaired probably wouldn't be worth it. It's hard to let this phone go because it's just so reliable, but there are plenty of other phones on the market now that measure up. Nokias have taken a bit of a turn for the worse over the last couple of years, but pop down to your local mobile phone store and take a look at what's on offer from some of the other manufacturers. Sony Ericsson and Samsung are putting out some really good phones at the moment.
Sandy, don't fret!
There's a few places up here that still have the prepaid Telstra kit with the 3310/15 in them! If you want one, give me a yell :D
hey friends my dad brought this phone 5 years ago when their was hardly anyone in india who use to have mobile phone and the gr8thing about this is still working fine i know now these kind of phone are found in musieum but it was the best at that time....
beacause of this phone lnoy we started trusting nokia and now every one in our family has a nokia 6600, 6260 ,and n 90. we all would like to say only one thing
WE LOVE NOKIA
it's the end of an era :( we can't get this phone in oz anymore and i had a tear roll down my face when i heard. this phone is a classic. easy to use, simple design, very tough, and it kept going and going. if you can get hold of 1 then i suggest you buy it. even if it's for emergencies only.
At 1 time this phone was the dogs, I remember really wanting it at school because everyone had 1 and that snake game was addictive. If you ask my mum about this phone she will definately prase it up, I gave mine to her when I bought a new 1 (purly for the fact that new things came out and I wanted the latest) she loves it 2 pieces and even after 3 years it is still working, has needed a new battery but thats it
