OMG! This is a legendary phone! Who cares if it doesnt have anything... it is really great!!!
This was my first phone too bad it was stolen this phone is great you can drop it but it wont have a scratch i love this phone!
it is my first handyphone but i can say that it is very wonderful.you can do and drop thousand times but it is ok. when the other mobile can not call if they are too far from center then 3310 is the best choice. i want to change the battery because you need to recharge again and again.besides that, no mobile can compete with it. bravo 3310, viva 3310( i am from vietnam)
the second fone i've had...too bad it was stolen from me..but still i luv this fone
it is the best phone which you can ever get in your life only worst part is that it dosent have memory
Did some crash tests with nokia 3310 just to prove what other said. I got on the beach to have more space for "testing". I throw the 3310 as far as I could, and after about 30m flight it hit the sand making a small dust cloud. No damage taken, it didn't even turn of or drop it's signal. At my home I put the phone into a experimentally generated strong EM field (it crashes most phones) but still altrought for the moment signal died, after getting the phone out it was still ok. I have overpowered the DC charging jack with 19.3 V first DC then AC voltage. Yet again, no permanent problems. Dropping on solid surfaces in daily life it's child play for this phone. I dropped it from about 11m and altrought the phone body broke it was still operable. Now i fell sorry for the phone, you can't find anything that compares to it in terms of resistance. My frends working at a phone service shop told me that 3310 and 6310 are the most resistant phones. Imagine all of this crash tests done on a n70 for example..
The Nokia 3310 was a pinnacle in the Mobile Phone Industry.. The 3310 was the most user friendly man made creation to this date.. No Joke.. My mom had one.. And she sure didnt read any instruction manual. Then My dad bought one for him self too.. Didnt stop there, bought one for my sister too.. well as for me.. I opted for the 5110, because lets face it.. the 3310 was and still is the world's most famous mobile fone.. Didnt have a single problem with it.. No software issues, and damn Hardy too.. Wouldnt be surprised if it stopped a bullet. I agree with one of the posts about Nokia having a Fone which can be used by Older people.. I gave my mom, my Old 7650.. Boy did she have her hand full.. Hehe.. Anyways.. Im now using a Nokia N70 here in Australia.. Alot of Problems with Software.. Kept on gettin stuck and restarting when I had personalised ringtones and everything on, but yet the hardware is good.. meaning.. Camera quality and sound is alrite for listening to music whilst in the bath! Cheers Everyone! Oh and as for the Old 3310's, 5 years on, and they are still in active duty back in my home country, Sri Lanka..
The ones who agree with me, write your opinnions about my writings.
This is the phone of my life!!!!!!!!!!! I can´t even think about the days when my dear 3310 is completely broken. Then I have to buy one of these new camera-radio-mms-e-mail-flashing-light-game-digital-bluetooth -superphones which allmost makes you a dinner if you tell them to do it. 3310 contains Ecxellent simplicity and nostalgy and every time I hear it´s polyphonic ringtone it almost makes me cry. PEOPLE, why don´t you understand. The world is based on simplicity.
Bring back 3310/3390, 6310i to the market!
Be serious, or get out of phone business!!!!
Especially older people - they need normal serious and simple phones!
Be serious or go join Sony-Ericsson.
Then you nee to change the name into:
why? why? why? why?
why? why? why? why?
why? why? why? why?
why did nokia discontinue this phone?
it has been one year and a half now since this model was officially discontinued from www.nokiausa.com
all new nokia phones, with radios, true tones shi..t tones, megapixels - all of them don't work as phones first!!!!
Way ahead of its time (even tought it wasent that long ago) awwww....... The gud old days of the BLOCKIAS lol
this is an absolutley crazy phone.
with all the new models coming out with cameras, 3G Poly, true and real tones etc.
his camera has none of it, but it has lasted longer than any of those phones i had. the call quality is good, user friendly and really sturdy and well built.
mine even went out the window of my car while i was driving!! went to pick it up it only had a crack in the case. it still continues to work!!!
i agree, the 3315 is the the greatest phone ever, tis reliable and easy to use
it sounds really bad to say its the best phone ever!! when there are all these reallly good phones out there now...basically a camera that u can call off!!!
but my nokia 3315 was the best phone!! never had any problems...people here in australia just give them away because they think there soo bad, but they dont realise that they have had there fone for 5 yrs and they can still give it away in perfectly working order!! BEST PHONE BY NOKIA
my 5th year using this phone, and it's beginning go crazy.. but still, how can u find a phone that can last you for 5 WHOLE YEARS nowadays?? maximum, 3 years, and poof, gone.. this phone survived my juggling, my banging, my temper and all.. yup.. used to juggle them when i'm bored.. NEVER breaks.. been using the same cover for the whole 5 years also *winkz*
I bought two nokia 3310, one for me and one for my wife.I have had mine for 3years and my wife's 2years. Recently we observed that each resets itself several times when in use and when not in use.Does it signify that the set life is gone? Sometimes it says the simcard is not accepted. Please tell me what to do.
