It's very cool. The only problem, at least for me, is that it is not working for old tvs, only new ones....
Also, you have to be very close (10 cms or so) or it wont work :(((
But apart this, it's just perfect!
pd: ss... please add me on msn...i still cant connect to pc suite :( but i connected via IrDa on my brother's laptop ;)
A NICE PROGRAM FOR 3650!
I'm not sure if every user of 3650 knows about this, but I would like to draw your attention to a very nice program that turns your 3650 into a Universal Remote Controller! The program is called irRemote, and is suitable for TV, VCR, HiFi, Tuner, Decoder... It uses the infrared port of 3650 to send signals.
I highely recommend this program. It's a big fun to use (especially if your wife/girlfriend has taken the usual remote controllers from you...).
Regarding Wav files.
Use Nokia PC suite to convert mp3 to wav. This method gives always about 50% smaller files. By using other program you may convert them into much larger audio files (for example to burn them into a CD).
I would not look for wav files. I would look for mp3 files and convert them to wav myself. Then I don't need any MP3 Player at all!
Check your email. I've sent you another "how to" to make the connection for 3650.
ey cud anyone help me? why is that when i convert my mp3 to wav why is that the size of the wav file is bigger than the mp3? pls help..
ey anyone can help me where to find wave tones?! like techno wave tones.. so that i will not anymore download the mp3 player.. thanx
Befor i coud send pic wav and softwares to my 3650 by IrDa but now when i want to send an pic or wav or software to the 3650 by IrDa .. a message pops out saying that acess is denied
Can someone help me with this?
Keep trying and followed the guide, but no success. i will try p800 drivers. i've added u on msn messenger, there we can talk in deep.
Check your email. I've just sent a link to a step by step solution to a bluetooth bug for Nokia series 60 phones. I hope this helps you.
By the way, if you are using IrDa then you should enable in mRouter the IrDa port. If you are using BT then enable only the Com ports used in your BT settings.
Also, download and use only the latest IrDa or BT drivers.
This might sound strange, but some people have succeeded by using other manufacturers' drivers for connecting PC with 3650!
please tell me ur mail/messenger to speak in deep. if u dont wanna make it public, add me (email@example.com)
also, i tick ALL com ports, but no way :(
when i connect to laptop via Irda, soft says: "Software version not supported by phone" ...!!!?? :@@
help me chatting please...
I've downloaded a 25MB video to my 3650. PC suite converted it into 1.4MB!!! So, the limited memory in 7650 should not be a much problem to watch (with sound!) some videoclips. Copy the file to the folder Videoclips and use RealOne to watch it. Enjoy!
There is a way to connect 3650 to Nokia PC suite via Infrared (this is easy but the connection speed is not that great) AND via bluetooth.
Check that you are using the same Com ports in your bluetooth software local settings and in Nokia mRouter (access it via the tray after you have installed PC suite).
There is no way to connect my nokia 3650 with nokia pc suite :( i can connect it to blutooth soft, but no way to get it connected with pc suite... any help?
Indeed, you can't compare 7250 with 3650: these are totally different phones. You should compare 3650 with P800. Now, if you want a stereo phone and touchscreen, and money is not an issue, then P800 is the best. Otherwise, 3650 is the choice.
Except those software bugs, Nokia has managed to "modify" the bluetooth standard. The result is several hours of desparate work trying to connect bluetooth headsets and USB to BT adapers properly with Nokia phones.
Hey Nokia, what about testing your phones properly before introducing them to consumers? How about fixing those bluetooth bugs? I'm sure, several people had trouble with this.
7250 = series 40 = very bad connectivity, no bluetooth, cant connect with other phones to send photos!! It's a rubbish compared to the series 60... I think P800 is just the best right now.
I also have several system errors and crashes, but that is really NORMAL in nokias, as they ALWAYS have software bugs. I think the less problematic phone was the 3310...
Bought the phone, played with it, connected with it and sold it, my overall experience of the 3650 was it was annoying but that was mainly down the the keypad but i expected problems. i had a few system errors and crashes noticiably in the xhtml browser, in my experience i compared loading times to my 7650 and believe it or not the 7650 was quicker! but the 3650 had the recording function that is ok and the series 60 interface is good. overall id still swap it for the 7250 or although i hate to say it and i am a nokia maniac, a sonyericsson P800 but im deciding right now but ill think very closely about the 7250.
