Dear Edlyn,
U can try to set the phone brightness first before you shoot the photo. 1st,u might need to select the contrast a bit light, then check the camera setting, it supposed to be set as high quality, then u go to Message, Multimedia, and go to setting, image....it supposed to under 'large'. and of course, u have to set your PC brightness accordingly.
My 1 cent. Hopefully it'll help

it's not as convenient to use as the older nokias. ii think it's the symbian os that's to blame. thus using it can be frustrating. i like the camera though, and the big memory. but when i transferred the pics to my computer, they were too dark to be seen though visibility was good on the phone. can anyone help me?

Guys, this phone can do anything....same as Nokia 6600. It just that this phone screen is 65k active matric screen whereby the 6600 is 65k tft screen. This phone not support Theme but at least, u can download Launcher and skin editor. U can even download the skin from the third party content site. Quite nice. For the video, if you like to make it longer than the std one, u can download the extended camcorder. It can play almost 2 hr. U need to change the video setting to the mmc card in order to get the full length of the playback. Ultra mp3 is workin fine, but dont forget that what ever software/application that u download, the first app that u need is seleQ or FT explorer. Otherwise, u cant play mp3 as a ringtone. For muslims, u can get the Mobile Quran, Azan with the time setting up to max 8 slots, Kaabah auto direction and even u can download compress full of ayat/ayah Quran and save it as MP3 player.
Its good also if u download virus scanner or anti virus apps. Besides, the application u can download such fotomaker v2.0, foto editor super, enhance foto base editor, auto full fotofit, instant/direct e-mail and there's so many things u can download while nokia 6600 cant. Impressed? find it yourself via Google Mobile. :-)

Nice phone with functions like GPRS, bluetooth, infared... but it's not user friendly in a sense too many buttons... too big like a remote control and also i have to save all my numbers to my sim cards one by one. There is a camera but I would say it's passable only as you can't zoom, sometimes the image u capture will be blurry. And I can't seem to be able to use my Gprs very well to send things to my email in box and I can't dload games though I have a good memory card.

There is no way of gettin themes support 4 this phone coz it runs on Symbian OS v6.1 .Themes only run on Symbian OS 7 or higher.I tried installing series 60 skin support on this phone but it gives system error.So no luck!Sorry,there's no way of gettin themes in this phone.
