The only reason I bought the phone is the design, perfect size and pink sand color. This phone would always be close to my heart and I would have upgraded to another Nokia phone but dunno why they ditched the Glass backa and such a perfect size. They also removed the notification light in power button. Really sad. It was such a good phone. Cheap phones these days are shit with polycarbonate back.

This device has network issues in any aspects: WiFi auto connectivity works randomly; Switching from WiFi to 4G is very slow or even impossible some time - needs to turn off and on again 'mobile data'. I was wondering how much costs a small gyro sensor to be mounted inside and why Nokia skipped it? Even some unknown Chinese brands produce their fake devices with any available and built-in sensors !

I had purchased this phone in June 2020 but sold it off this month. I had purchased this phone for 3-4 reasons : 1) I wanted a handy phones and most of the phones with > 6" displays are too big for my liking. 2) I liked the pink design with the glass back and the illuminated power button. 3) I wanted stock android as I was fed up with MIUI ads and privacy issues.
The reason why I sold it off so soon is again for 2-3 reasons. 1) Subpar cameras. Coming from a Redmi Note 7 I found the primary camera big disappointment. Most of the budget phones in this price segment come with 12 or 13 MP primary camera but they give much better result. I think Nokia has tried to save too much money by going in for the cheapest available Chinese sensor 2) Battery life is another disappointment. I had thought that with a smallish HD display and stock android, the battery would last for at least a day. But I found that I started the day removing the phone from the charger and ended the day doing the same. 3) No android updates. Nokia is sleeping on updates. Android 11 was released in mid of last yea and till January there was no word on updates. 4) Laggy processor. When the phone was new and there wasn't much data on the phone the processor was working fine. But after 6 months and installing a few apps, I began to saw crashes, lag etc.
I think Nokia as a company is trying to live on past glory and brand name instead of being competitive. Using subpar sensors, not pushing updates...I sincerely hope they improve their products in the future. They excel in design and build quality but fall short on other aspects like battery, cameras and processors.

I like the shape and a few features.
My only challenge for now is the end task pop up that won't vanish quickly; it blocks my ability to do other things, so I have to wait for it to time out. I wish I knew where to deactivate it; after all, I don't particularly need you to inform me that my number has saved and stay in my way forever.
I wish there was more quality in the Dual Camera; it isn't as efficient as I had hoped for a doublecam

Nokia 4.2 NICE 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Yeah I've been using this phone for 8 months now and I gotta say, the phone works perfectly for basic tasks and some light gaming, the camera is decent in good lighting but it's better you install gcam, the battery life is average (just able to get you to the end of the day), I'd recommend this phone for light to medium users.
P.S: the phone takes time to charge but I'm used to it already 🙂🙂

It is already a few months since the Android 10 update and dual-sim functions are not working. The phone is useless with two sims, because no one can call you. HMD is not providing solution. They are not even acknowledging the problem. I am a user of Nokia from many years and I am more than disappointed. If they don't fix the problem soon, I will have to buy a new phone and this time it wont be Nokia. And it wont be Nokia the next times as well.
