This is a no-frills, good deal unit for people who use handphones just the way it's intended, for CALL & SMS... most negative feedbacks that are posted here shows the following:
1. user compares this unit with high end ones,
2. user never cared to read the unit specification,
3. user doesn't know what he/she needs,
4. user is naturally born stupid, hehehe...
basically, this is a phone, want to take pictures, grab a digital camera... need music on the go, look for an mp3 player...
as for my experience, this phone rocked my world!!!

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2009Is a Nokia 5000 a good phone? Please reply urgently - I wanna buy! My father has been using the phone for four days. Well the limited amount of memory may be a problem. I knew this before buying it. The first experiences with the battery are not too good. It lasts only two days by normal use. I would say 4 hours using it continuously. So ask for a better battery. The phone is sold with the standard one. The reason is clear. The high resolution display is very good, so it needs a lot of juice. I hope I could help. Bye.

This phone would've been the PERFECT phone if only it had a card slot and perhaps a 1.5 or 2 MP camera, but card slot more important. But nooo, Nokia had to ruin one of the BEST phones with no card slot.
I was going to buy the Vodafone 527 which HAD a card slot but didn't because it didnt have very good reviews and some problems, so i stuck to this. Anyway Nokia is an excellent mobile producer.
Otherwise im happy with this phone.
Earth to Nokia: PUT A CARD SLOT!!!!

The phone is one of the best in his price range. Calls are ecxellent, display good, sound too. If u don't like just don't buy it. There is no gunman on the entrance of every shop hwo tells you buy 5000 or die. So u have many options ;)...

GopZ, 02 Aug 2009hey guys my phone does not vibrate every time. its only vibrate when i put small pressure on ... moreyou know what it is not part of the features of this phone youre dealer is lieng! go back to your dealer and get your waranty! i have this phone and it vibrate every time some one is texting me or calling me!

hey guys my phone does not vibrate every time.
