i probably had around 7 of this model, my first one i accidentally dropped in my cup of coke which was half filled. a blowdryer was all i needed to have it fixed:-) i miss this one. and 8110 too

It seemed almost everyone in Indonesia owned this phone when it was launched in 1998, they call it the phone of the "commoners". I bought mine in 1999 and changed the original cover with smoked-see through one with all the inner parts visible, damn cool for the time.

Nokia 5110 was the first cellphone I even had. It's also one of the best. I'm trying to find a new one, I can't find my own =/

5110 rocks.. its still exist.. i have 2 5110 units.. until now der still functioning.. the one is 8 yrs and the other is 6 yrs.. and still count.. hehehe

This phone was really connecting people, not like the fragile and faulty new phones. My dad still has one but he didn´t use it anymore. It was a shame that the battery died

Consider this... isnt it nice to see in the reminders menu ur first date 8yrs ago with you girlfriend. and now you have your child using it. what a phone.

The Nokia 5110 is the most durable of all Nokia mobile phone units. I accidentally dropped mine from the top of a 50-step stairs and it still works as if nothing happened!
