This phone was really connecting people, not like the fragile and faulty new phones. My dad still has one but he didn´t use it anymore. It was a shame that the battery died
Someone else posted this but it's on page 9 and I thought I'd repost. Sums up the nokia 5110 beautifully.
Consider this... isnt it nice to see in the reminders menu ur first date 8yrs ago with you girlfriend. and now you have your child using it. what a phone.
greatest phone ever...indestructble,indespensable,great 10 megapixel camera, 10G internal memory, great LCD display,,,the intitution of phones!!
The Nokia 5110 is the most durable of all Nokia mobile phone units. I accidentally dropped mine from the top of a 50-step stairs and it still works as if nothing happened!
This Nokia 5110 model is the best mobile phone of Nokia. So complete features! Nokia 5110 is better than the latest model N96 and N78! Nothing can beat Nokia 5110! Simply the best!
i like this phone since 1998 and now its alive i used this phone for daily used i love it
The old model of this type was a none GSM model, the Nokia 5300 or 5600 series. There was a handsfree car kit with extended speaker and mic. My question is; can we use this model 5110 also for that car kit.
Does this model 5110 has a connection on the back for an extended antenna?
it was a great phone. all my family had this nokia model. some of them are still working because those GSM phones doesnt work in the forest but this kid works!!!
hello...thanks for this site, i think the most important thing in any mobile is sending and receving calls & good battery that what i found in nokia 5110, i,m searching about another 5110 i need another nokia 5510 where i can found this. then i need new keypad for my 5110 nokia.thanks very much.
Got it 10 years ago in Finland. It still works. It was charged 5 months ago and still has some charge. It does not play music, show movies, cook dinner, show maps, but it works as a phone and very well. Pity they do not make it anymore.
Yeah there were two versions of this phone in America: the Nokia 5190 and Nokia 5125 (but the last one isn´t GSM but TDMA). My dad has a 5125 since 2003 but actually he doesn´t use it anymore because he bought in 2005 a Motorola E380 and today he owns a LG f2100. But after all this is a very good phone, I have used it several times and never let me down. For that reason I´m very loyal to Nokia (I own a 6230, 6682 and thinking on buy a 6120 classic next month).
