Joachim III, 18 Oct 200916 gb works with 5130. takes about a minute to initialise, but works fine.does it make it work slower?
Edwin M, 21 Oct 2009Yes Nevin...it is 1020 milliamps. Sorry for the booboo! No harm done....
I've heard a rumour that the older BL-5C's are better that the included battery. Just met this guy at amobile shop who told me this... If you are having problems with battery backup? then you might try it out just to be sure. Well i had a hard time believing this as the older BL-5C's are 820MAh or something close... It's not all about the capacity itself. I think it's gotta do with the quality of the battery too to an extent.
Sandeep Dua, 20 Oct 2009NIce Phone For Engineers............. your product is very super NICCE & great
One advice to all 5130 users.... the philips SHH9700 Xpress music earphones is not a good buy for 1500rs. It is just an overhyped plugin earphone taking advantage of the Xpress music brand name to fool the common people.... You can get better earphones for half the price. Please do not encourage other users to buy this piece of crap. Recommend Sony MDR-ED12LP. I think it is the best suited for this phone.
Nevin Joseph, 20 Oct 2009Battery is actually 1020MAh. Correct me if i'm wrong. Yes Nevin...it is 1020 milliamps. Sorry for the booboo!

Anyway i doubt it can match sony in bass.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2009i agree with you, i think MDR-ED12LP has great sound better than philips. but if you want more... moreWhat was I thinking... should've known that 8.2mm driver is still no match for the 16mm sony drivers.. It just pumps out bass like a drummer on steroids... I'll never buy another plugin earphone again.. My sony beats the SHH9700 simply in all respects...
It's like comparing an ordinary tap to a firman's hose... I felt that though the sounds reproduced were clean, it felt like it had been supressed and compressed. With my MDR-ED12LP, you can actually feel like you are listening to the real thing. The drums and guitar solos sound like they should. the only thing is that it's a bit down on the mid ranges. But at that levels of output, you'll hardly notice the difference..
Nevin Joseph, 20 Oct 2009To music lovers all over....
Please do not buy the Philips SHH9700 in ear earphones. Bought ... moreis it just the loudness or overall its bad...
BTW shh9700's output sound is low only 100dB.
In most forums they rate philips highly...maybe it needs a burn-in or something...loudness wont improve but other things might.
