This phone almost has the same design as my Symphony D54+ but on front. also this phone has better specs than my phone. good thing is both have java :)

This phone from another era is unmatched for its look'n'feel, its heft and stunning build quality. And its niche. I doubt even a BlackBerry would gain quite such the astonished attention, and envy, that this beautiful phone attracts in use - today, 10 years on. I still get 2G here in the UK though my service provider (not uniquely) has halted 3G provision. The phone should last me to the end of the decade with any luck and maybe beyond.
As a calls-and-texts-only device it is almost perfect. Additionally: Music, tick; Video, tick (with some limitations); FM Radio, tick. Wonderfully tweakable personalisation, especially button shortcuts. Bluetooth tick but WiFi cross - pity. Haven't quite mastered tethering and hotspots but think tick and cross respectively?
Loathe the un-edit-able presence of redundant shortcuts to Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp .. and others. The phone is far too old for any of these to have currency and it would be great if the apps could be uninstalled or the links merely hidden. (They can be lowered out of sight.) Any ideas? Also the ability to understand and import contacts via VCF files instead of relying on BT would be good.
As another commentator lamented the absence of 4G: if Nokia or one of their agents could be persuaded to take this historic design on and produce a 4G Nokia 515 v.2 ultimate calls-and-texts phone with zero bloat but the identical design and attributes, they'd be on to a winner!

Hi, buy this phone in 2014. In 2023 replace a original front panel (50 euro), buy 3 original batteries in Germany (MediaMarkt) (≈15 euro for one). In 2024 thinking about replace back panel ≈50 euro. Now this phone like new.. and in 2024 Nokia doesn't offer ANY feature phone for business use in metal and glass ..
