I bought this phone at sept 15, 2009. Months later, my phone got problems (speaker broke, rebooted, and hanged)
i brought it to nokia care. It fixed.
But a month later, my phone turned off by itself, and cant be turned on. The screen was white. So, i brought it to nokia care again.
Now, a year from when i bought it, the speaker broke again, n the phone usually rebooted.
If u read it, please do some thing for us.

I am using this set just over a year. within the first 3-4 months it has got problem with Speaker. the Spekar got damaged. But after that there were no other problem. I have faced some problem at times while I was calling someone or talking to someone, all of a sudden it starts to vibrate and then it gets turned off. But in recent time am not facing this peculiar problem.
But I got to say that its' look and sound system is really cool, and voice clarity through its' headphone is also quite good...

I think Nokia should call back these phone back as Toyota is doing rigth now. I bought this phone last year and the phone went off just like that. i took it to Nokai care, they told me to come back after 7 days, i went back and they told me that it cannot be repaired. I bought another same 5220 and now it has gone off again. its a very bad phone. Nobody should buy that phone again. Its a very useless phone. In fact Nokia should be sued for selling this phone. Nokia should also refund whoever buys this phone.

my phone deleted all my pesonal information and displayed another menu that i have seen for the first time(PPT)so i want to know will i be able to get it back?

im using my 5220 phone for almost 1 1/2 years now.so far i have'nt encountered such big deal problems. the only issue about my phone is the backlight goes dim if using it in action. i mean if you press a button. the light goes dim. then after a few secs, the light goes bright again. it's ok coz i can still see the screen. as a music player, the device is excellent. physically, its easy to put in my pocket coz it's slim and lightweight. the predefined settings on the equalizer are quite good and balanced also. im using my pioneer se-mj5 headphones to listen to my tracks and it gives crystal clear audio. i just cant adjust the bass to the limit coz the output almost distorts. all in all i can say that the device is good and great for music playing. the sound is loud enough so i can listen to it perfectly without adjusting the volume to high.

now its warranty is over...and i m scared how much money this phone will consume for repair work..
always there is a software prob...
nokia care executives hav the same answer...
virus ...internet....downloading..etc..etc

it suddenly got problem ....not getting ... moreMy phone gave me problems during warrenty. Took it to Nokia Care who did all patch work. Just after warenty it showed similar problems.
Now Nokia Care says that it cannot be repaired. Its pure and simple cheating by Nokia. Whats in a mobile phonne that it cannot be repaired.
NOKIA MUST REPLACE THESE PHONES. ITS A DEFECTIVE SUB STANDARD PRODUCT TO START WITH. NOKIA PLEASE REPLY.

The most third class and bullshit phone I have ever bought. Nokia must have picked it up from a road side vendor. This is nothing but cheating the customers.
The phone was given to Nokia Care thrice in thirteen months. Onexpiry of warrenty Nokia Care has declared the phone as DEAD. This warrents legal action against Nokia.

it is a very nasty multimedia phone.i went three times to nokia care and inspite of that it is troubleshooting.I am sorry to commment like that but this the truth.
