T, 06 Feb 2009can sum1 please answa my query... how much messages can it store roughly??? a rough amount???I don't own a Nokia 5220,but messages can normally(on nokia phones) be changed to be stored on the memory card.If you were to have an 8Gb card inserted,message capacity will be thousands,if not Millions.

Because when it first came out, it only supported 2GB cards.
With the new firmware updates, it supports 8GB memory cards.
And YES, it works fine with my 8GB card!

I can't understand why are people comparing it to ipod. Though the quality of music is pretty good but it's no where close to an ipod. If you're looking to buy a phone and if you were to take my opinion, I'd say it's a safe bet.

Hi - does anyone know if this mobile has a backlight duration option? (i.e. can set backlight to stay on longer e.g. 30 secs/45secs?) Hopefully it does, unlike Nokia 3120 classic! Thankyou in advance.

Guys i would like to know if the sound quality and the loudness level using the ipod headphone r the same as the ipod.
Cause if there were the same i will go for 5220 or else i will go for the ipod nano chromatic.
and about the phone alarm how many alarms does it have?
