Help mehi there.....
Its a good matter to think about that mp4 playbilty.....but now i will tell u why it happens.....
Nokia s60 5th ed....phones dosn`t support divx type mp4....it can play hi quality h264 codec....mp4 file till 640x480....
But u can play mp4 divx form in uc player....i had this phone for 2 years...
and its not screen size matter.....that measured before ...... but you can play hi quality vga(640x480) videos in 5233...(real player)
And for more you just download uc player....
that can play 720p(DIVX CODEC INCLUDE)(download via you tube downloader)video too..but little little slow...

I have chosen two phone . 1. nokia 5233 an 2. samsung galaxy y. frnz ... morea smart phone without battery backup is like a child's toy.the main disadvantages of galaxy y.another disadvantages is it's screen resolution.it does not support most of android apps in this resolution,so if u stay most of time outside home then think again before buying galaxy y.other hand galaxy y is better than 5233,if u extend ur budget much more then u should buy htc explorer.this is much better than both of this.best of luck

You said that Mp4 is not supporting its cuz the size of the video is not supporting the LCD(Liquified Chrystal Diet) so what you gotta do is decrease the size of the video use a convertor it can be any of em that is TVC(Total Video Converter) Or CM(Convert Master) then while converting keep the resolution size as 640x360 or lower than that if 360x640 does'nt playes then trust me it works.

pappy, 08 May 2012please i have a problem.my phone had a code that i put but after ward the code was changed now... moreHi pappy.....listen carefully
1.remove ur memory card
2.open the battery and insert again but don't switch on
3. Press & hold GREEN,RED,CAMERA button at a time.
4.in this holding position press & hold power button until the Nokia hand shaking animation will appear
5.choose country,fix date & time........
6.a big smile in ur face.
