pls suggest me with your ... moreDont go for 5233 nor for galaxy y
go for c5-05
its sleeker than 5233 and equiped with A-Gps
galaxy y is good just because it has android bt c5-05/ 5233 is runs on symbian v5 which is good enough for all useful apps and multitasking with a nHD (640x360) screen.. While a galaxy y has a QVGA (240x320) screen resolution.. Its mean viewing images and videos is more crishper in nokia...
And gaming is also so much fun in nokia... Both the nokia support hd and motion games...
Then what are you waitin for ????
Go and grab your nokia 5233 or c5-05... Both priced almost same... But 5233 feels you much heavier...
So, i think c5-05 is a best option... N remember about the hardware quality of nokia...

if ur Priority is gaming, 3g, gps, wifi, wifi hotspot then go for galaxy y android phones, but i heard their battery backup is low n also network reception is weak..
also heard that due to low rejolution/colors screen, you won't enjoy videos on it
if ur Priority is just surfing net thru Opera browser & watching movies on phone, then go for 5233, its plus points are
-16m color screen, gr8 for watching videos
-good battery back up
-good network reception

awesome phone just use black wallpaper with black theme it luks more gorgeous. And have spb shell more smooth amazing user interface

[deleted post]the price of the handset is 5800. So 2nd hand well guess that yourself if the handset is in a very good condition then don't go for more than 4000.

Im using this phone for abt 2yrs, nd in single word it's a awsum phone...... it's camera, video recording nd music quality is fine..... it supports almst all kinda symbian s60 softwares.... and it's more handy thn any othr touch phones..... so last of all I must say it's the best phone 1 can get in this price range... thnx to nokia......

I'm using it from last 10 months.
I has today formatted it with *#7370#. After it I had experienced a Drastic change in mobile. It has speed up by 3 times. Awesome phone. Best ever had in medium range. I have also set an email setup.

See both the handsets are good in their own places so for me NOKIA 5233 is better & yes it does supports Mp4 videos. So now its upto you which one do you want.

N 5233 runs on Symbian S60v5 and Galaxy Y runs on Android 2.3
if u are not addicted to texting, browsing and viewing videos, then Galaxy y is the better option or if u are not intrested in playing some decent games and using some funny apps then n 5233 would be better...
As we all know that android is popular for apps n games.. But with a tiny 3" and low resolution screen, Galaxy Y will dissapoint u...
You can still enjoy some useful apps and son HD games on 5233 on its 3.2" nHD screen...
Texting is comfortable in n 5233 as comparing to galaxy y...
So overall.. If you want to up to date with os and want to put a tag of 'Galaxy' in your phone then go for it...
or if you want a phone that satisfied a basic smartphone user's need within budget, then made a bill in favour of Nokia
