But mate I found this blog by Binh24 who is the cr... moreWell, since v50 is already ported then using that file will help not to get your phone bricked, but still won't allow you to make the phone functional. Since this core doesn't have the rofs1 file anymore. You will have to replace the rofs1 file inside the Blaze's rofs2 with the latest v50 rofs1 (which you will have to extract from the original v50 core, whose size is around 90mb).

He has already ported v50 to new C6 core which he says is compatible with previous cfws based on the v40 core. Since Blaze is based on the C6 core ported by him, in theory the v40 rofs2 should work with the v50 core. But i'm still not sure as to whether all the mods will work with the new core.
Any thoughts on thta mate?

That will brick it for sure. Especially when you have the blaze rofs2.
You know that this (blaze's) rofs2 has the Core's (v40) rofs1 inside. And since this rofs1 is the main part of a core, flashing with an original core (which already has nokia's v50 rofs1 inside) will mean that you flashed using 2 'rofs1's (one of v50 and one of v40, inside the Blaze rofs2).
But if you manage to take out the v50's rofs1 and replace the blaze's rofs1 (inside the rofs2) then i guess the thing will work out.
Oh my, this is deep. Correct me if i am going haywire....
And no, i haven't flashed with v50 yet. I just need the default browser's installation file. Any idea how to extract it?

Selena, 30 Jun 2011Can anybody tell me that this phone plays videos in .avi format? Thanks in advance...Well you can play .avi files with the help of 3rd part apps like UC player and smart movie. But the end result will be a laggy video with a lot of stuttering and dropped frames. The apps can't handle the high bitrates and frame size. So like Sb mentioned it is always better to transcode your videos to a more playable and compatible mp4 format.

I was hoping for a Blaze cfw with v50 core but none of the modders seem interested so I thought of cookin one up myself using the v50 core and v40 rofs2. The thing is I'm not sure if that will work as the v50 has a lot of changes upfront that might make it difficult to do a complete port. Will renaming of the v40 rofs2 to v50 solve the problem? Gotta try it out any how. Any advice mate?
