It also comes with virtual qwerty keypad and the keys are way bigger than the ones on C3. 5233 is a true smartphone, that means it supports multitasking ie the ability to run multiple processes/apps at one time.
The rest of the differences are already mentioned in your post.
Btw, 5233 music player is good. Besides there are also plenty of third party players that are even better.

Hi guys, i'm Amjad from Kerala. I'd like to have a nokia phone between 5k to 6k and shortlisted nokia c3 and nokia 5233. I'd been doing some research of these 2 sets for quite some time recently and came to know that:
Nokia C3:
*price - Rs. 5600 in kerala
*comes along with 2gb memory card in the box
*takes around 4 to 5 hrs to get fully charged when on low battery.
*comes with both english and hindi alphabets on the keypad which creates a confustion when one would already find it difficult to adjust with a qwerty.
*symbian series 40
*3.5mm audio jack
*sound quality - somewhat ok
*camera not that good - no flash and picture clarity not satisfactory
*video quality not so good - only 15fps
*it gets stuck very often while on chat or while browsing
*Even with all its flaws people always prefer phones with keypads because it last longer when compared to touchsreens. This phone is good for people who use more of messaging, chat and facebook and not good those who love music and photography.
Nokia 5233:
*price - Rs. 5900 in kerala
*no memory card in the box
*good display with 3.2" touchscreen
*symbian series 60 v5
*3.5mm audio jack
*music player not so good.
*volume output very low - only a single speaker
*sound quality can be improved by using either sony or philips in-ear headphones
*camera quality - average with 2mp & no flash
*video quality is good with 30fps
*comes along with pen and pluctrum stylus, USB data cable
* A good and stylish phone for those who prefer good battery backup, good overall performance and durability. has support for more applications and games and themes.
If you have experienced or came across more info on these, kindly revert and help me take a good decision with regard to value for money. Plz advice

As i've not used touchscreen yet, i want to know about durability of its touchscreen...

here, in this forum, some people told that 5233 loudspeaker sound is little bit low. i'm going to buy this hndst in this month & i'm so much confused about this topic. i'm working at liluah rail workshop(W.B)& here, always some noisy sound is happening. so. my doubt is-if i call someone or someone call me, in that mean time i can hear properly his voice with loud & clear sound? i.e, 5233's conversation sound. pl hlp quickly as pssble....

novice, 01 Feb 2011critical problem mates: our hostel just got broadband internet connection. In5233 there is no ... morewell try hisii or gnubox..google it
